Green has helped us win a couple games just like Brad Stevens and Rollie predicted.
Nothing is ever good enough for some Celtics Bloggers. I've seen Rollie get trolled on probably more than any of us. I'm grateful he and a bunch of others do post because they are grounded in reality and deserve to enjoy the fruits of this amazing team and trajectory.
He was also correct about Jerebko.
The Celtics are a team and system at this point. I watched a couple videos on the Celtics' five out strategy. I never really thought about it too much. To me, it looked like motion offense and shooting a lot of threes. It is not a complex system, but there is a learning curve to it, and it obviously helps if the players are comfortable with and able to work off of their teammates.
So, I am trying to say that Green might have ended up in a negative feedback loop in which there was no room for him to find his niche. His only opportunities were in games that were dragging and Brad said to himself, okay, I am forced to shake this up. However, now that we have had a few players dropping like flies or taking time off for personal reasons, it is next man up time. It seems easier to be the next man up than to get thrown into bad games and expected to give the team a lift despite bench splinters still lodged in their calcifying games.
And on a side note, if one considers how the Celtics go about it on offense, they will start to see how guys like Smart and Olynyk have been gelling with our top player Isaiah, and he with them. We get better as seasons continue for a reason. It can no longer be seen as a statistical fluke. Stevens is a coach, teacher and friend to these guys. Our situation is the opposite of cynicism. This is old-school pure basketball which leaves room for growth and perhaps even miracle finishes.
This is why Danny must be very careful in who he brings in. Would divas such as Cousins or Melo be able to adjust and play within the team's structure? Or would they be disruptive and provide us with hollow stats and losses.
I had wondered why Danny kept Young over Hunter. It was kind of a who cares either way decision and probably utterly meaningless, but James had one extra year of conditioning in regards to training for this specific team. The C's motto is we are one superstar. That makes a lot of sense. It's probably why some players do well for us and then are not the same player on a different team, say Evan Turner.
The negative people are way out there and a drain on others.
We started the season 13-12 and have gone 22-7 since a loss on December 14th. That's a .759 winning percentage. How can people complain? It seems to be the same folks every time. So are they being serious trying to learn and share info or are they just dropping parasitical posts?
Life is too short to waste time reading toxic words.
