Don't look now but a former MVP just went 2/10 against the Kings and was seen getting publicly berated by his loudmouth donkey of a teammate. We all have bad games but it's no secret that GS has still yet to rediscover that buzzsaw, blow the doors off teams mindset and when things are at there worst Draymond Green makes no effort hide how he feels about Durant's performance.

https://youtu.be/AJMYX7oN5Io

Is this what he signed up for? Does he want to walk out every night knowing that he's a couple of bricks from getting cussed out by Draymond? Could it even be possible that KD might actually consider bolting from GS this summer?

For someone who showed last year he's not afraid to look for greener pastures, is there any situation looking better than Boston right now? Cavs are imploding, San Antonio is aging, and the Patriots just won the superbowl the same day our fan base honored one of it's greatest legends. (I had the honor of attending that game and Pierce's 3 is something I'll never forget ;D)

We may be a high assist team but we also don't run that whip the ball around the court, everyone touches the ball, globetrotters system that GS trots out every night. Conversely we're also not anything like what he had with Westbrook, since our 30 PPG scorer is an efficient assassin and not some unchained alpha beast.

What do you think? Could Durant actually reconsider this off-season and cement his legacy as a Boston legend? Or does he stay in GS and be Draymond's high priced whipping boy? The choice is yours KD, your still welcome here in my eyes brother.

If anything changes, it will be Greene the one on the way out.

The Warriors are 43-8. Forty three and eight. If they haven't discovered their buzz saw yet, I will be afraid once they did.

And I'm pretty sure KD isn't upset about Draymond yelling at him. He wasn't the first time, and certainly wasn't this time. That's who Draymond is, and KD gets that. Draymond yells at everybody, including his coach, but the Dubs seems to have no problem moving forward.

This is nothing.

As much as it's fun for us to see him don the green, he's not going anywhere.

Psh, has there ever been an emptier 43-8?!?!

Nah those are all fair points Yoki TP, I just personally thought they'd be looking more dominant by this point. They've looked surprisingly human at times for a team sporting 4 of the top 20 players in the league.

We'll see, I'm just saying it's a long season and who knows what playoffs time could bring. Definitely not getting my hopes up, but I've gone from thinking it be a 0% chance of thinking he could leave GS to a gentleman's 5%.

Tell ya what though, it also could be argued that Draymond should be bringing this stuff up in the locker room away from the camera. Its the public nature of the tirades that invites speculation.

43-8 doesn't mean Durant is happy. Durant didn't publicly admit to being bothered by Westbrook until he was already packed for Golden State, so I don't think we'll know until we know.

I'm not counting on him being available this summer, but I wouldn't rule it out either. Draymond absolutely will wear on him eventually. Might not be this year. But if it is, Durant will probably just leave and not say anything until he's gone.

And why should KD not explore his option s as well.
Look he really was lookin at Boston last summer and was perhaps torned between the 2 franchises but what swung him for the Warriors was the real 100% chance of returning to the finals and become champion. He doesn't have that benefit in Boston....not to say that he is keenly lookin at Boston's situation right now....a legit 2 seed in the East without the benefit of a complete line up since the start of the season...a suddenly improved IT who has teared up the league like no one has done in the last decade...and he sure knows about the best basketball fans in the world...surely in his sleep he can think of the endless possibilities of playing for a crowd that will immortalize you forever....Now I know he wants his ring badly but if he still comes up empty this season well he will only be seen as ...the Meh Goat.

Durant has already said no to Boston once, so be it, he can stay in Golden state as far as I am concerned.

He had the opportunity to be the face of a mythic franchise in a city who lives for sports and has deep history. He chose to jump on the GSW bandwagon because he feared he couldn't beat 'em. As Lillard said 'If you can't beat 'em join 'em, right ?".

His choice, to me, said a lot about who he was, as well as the way he handled things with Russel Westbrook.

I wish he stays somewhere else and loses to us in finals someday.

If we beat them in the playoffs I think he comes.
Basically, the "if you can't join them, beat them." approach.
It worked for the GSW.

or it could be a Green watch, not 2017 but whenever he is a FA. We need another strong voice in the locker room, Smart/IT/Green, is pretty nasty. I get IT is still our go-to-scorer and Green may not provide the scoring we need but he does provide rebounding, and energy. He's a bigger version of Smart who in my opinion also a better scorer

This. I wish he were, but he isn't.

And if he came back to Boston after dissing us last year, I would welcome him with open arms. It was only business. As in "Leave the gun. Take the cannoli." But he's gonna be in California for a good long time.

Golden State Warriors have p---ed off the Basketball Gods and that's why they will not win the championship. Something will happen to that team, injury or something which will prevent them from coming to the top. On the other side, the Cavs have also p---ed off the Gods, not in a way GSW has but they did it. They also will not repeat this year. There must be some third team this year, it would be fair... Call me clairvoyant lol

i don't think they need to dominate.
Besides it looks like last season  season taught them they don't need to go full speed in regular season.

I don't know if they go all the way but so far a 43-8 record is impressive ....

Kevin Garnett said "No" to the Celtics initially as well.
