nader scores 25 pts with 9 assists,5 boards,2 steals and a block and 5 for 5 from foul line and 9-17 field goals made
the best part was, i have been noticing his weak side help has been passive but  during first half i watched a different nader as he helped baseline with a double team of low post-he is learning

the maine team had mickey, jackson, nader and ryan kelly-games are archived

kelly 6-11 hit three straight threes but doesn't like contact-a poor mans kaminsky

Thanks for update... It would be cool if Nader gets a callup at some point this season.

Pretty sure they'd have to clear a spot for him to make that happen? Young would have to
be moved or waived.

The problem is, who does Nader defend?
He's too small to defend the PF and too slow to defend the SF.

Yuh, and as opposed to Yabu who can just about defend 2's.

hope he gets a shot somewhere. Reminds me of Rudy Fernandez, stauskas, aminu

Not sure i agree with the comparisons. Stauskas and Rudy have wingspans of ~6'7.5 inches, Nader's is a whopping 7'1". He also seems to have a more confident handle than either of those players, and is ismply much more physical overall.

I've seen him play live several times now, and one thing that is striking is just how BIG he is. He is frequently one of the two or three biggest players on the court.

IMO he defends most bigs just fine at the D-league level, and he is quick enough to guard smaller players as well.

He has the potential to be an extremely versatile defender, add to that his varied offensive skillset, and there's reason to be excited.

Really hope he joins the team next year.  Seems like he could play a solid off the bench role and maybe be a regular rotation player.

I see no reason why Nader, Zizic, and Yabu can't make the roster next year.  The worst case scenario is they take up spots 10-12 and don't see many minutes, but I think they all have a chance of cracking the rotation.

Plus the Brooklyn pick. I don't see 4 rookies making it.

Agree....he is the kind of big long 2-3 guy with IQ we need .....I know he is like 24 , but he plays mature and acts mature ....nothing wrong with having matured well.

Nader is not a Celtic. He is not on the team. he cannot be called up.

The Celtics would need to somehow get rid of a current player and then signnaderto a contract.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Feel the same way. Just don't see Ainge saddling Stevens with 4 rookies when this team is trying to be a contender

Maybe, but there is a reason they added 2 more spots with the 2way contracts in the new CBA. Danny was probably a ring leader on that change, especially after last season where he had to give away 2 picks. We still have a lot of picks, we needed that change!
