With the news that Wilson Chandler would like a trade from DEN, sources say DEN is looking at what a package of Chandler/Mudiay can fetch.

DEN would like to consolidate some pieces for a win now player(s) that can get them in the playoffs this season. Real sense of urgency there

I wonder if DEN is the 3rd team we need to make Anthony to Boston happen?

To Boston: Melo, Nurkic and Baker

To New York: Chandler, Johnson, Zeller, and Mudiay

To Denver: Rose, Olynyk, Rozier and picks

He's kinda like Smart but without the defense or intensity.

Me too... But i can also understand

The team wants to build around Jokic who is like a stretch 5. Excellent ball handler/passer

He needs to be surrounded by shooters to "maximize" . Something Mudiay is shaky at best. Not a problem with Harris who could also play some point

Not sure which teams could use a pg and have a bunch of decent shooters to trade with Denver

Philly makes some sense.  Rodriguez and Noel/Okafor for Chandler and Mudiay.

Portland could do a Crabbe for Chandler swap.  Saves the Blazers money and balances there roster a bit better.  Crabbe is an excellent outside shooter which would fit in well in Denver.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

1) Denver better get a bunch of picks.

2) Has Denver given up on Mudiay? Seems early.

3) Does Phil think that Mudiay is their future answer at PG?

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
I just kinda wonder what Denver is targeting to get back. I guess if they move Mudiay they want a point guard?

Anyways, enter the Juancho.

Makes a ton of sense for Philly; zero sense for Denver. They have no need or desire for Noel/Okafor. They're already trying to trade Nurkic due to a center logjam, so this trade would just make Denver the 76ers of the West with a center logjam.

Don't understand why they want to move on from Mudiay. Don't people believe he has Wall type potential?

He is almost undisputably the worst starting PG in the league this year.

47.9% true shooting (roughly Marcus Smart level), 1.6:1 assist:turnover rate, no defense to speak of.  His only redeeming qualities are that he is big and fast.

I think Okafor for Mudiay would actually be a fine trade.  Let both guys get a fresh start in environments that might suit them better.

Because Portland matched Crabbe's offer sheet, he cannot be traded until mid-July.

Mudiay makes little sense for the 76ers with what is going on with that team now... They want to surround embiid with shooters

Yea Denver already has Faried, Jokic, Nurkic and even a decent low bench guy in Darrel Arthur at the 4 and 5 spots. Why add another center big PF?

If i was the clippers, i would be all over getting Wilson Chandler on the cheap.
Though he is quite atrocious on defense, he's still a big body and would contribute more than Pierce and Wes Johnson.

Would you rather trade your entire bench for Melo, or a 2nd round pick (and change) for 14ppg player
