isaiahs foul shooting is so so deadly and ability to change arc and use  the glass and now a pull up fall away
what happens, if he decides get better with his threes and extend his range-if korver, curry and thompson can shoot like that,i wouldn't put it past isaiah to make it happen
spend the summer just raining threes and working on those lower % spots
it would add more pressure to defenses and extend his career-
i remember when he first joined the team, isaiah was pulling up  and burying deep threes
they were like daggers

He's currently shooting a career high .385 from 3 and taking a career high 8.1 3's a game. To your point, rollie, the more dangerous he is from out there, the easier it has been to get by his defenders, which is his biggest strength anyway.

So yeah, as he gets older it'll be important to his game to keep up this trend.

isaiah was quoted in an article,
on what he worked on last summer, he said extending range, getting shot off quicker, shooting threes off dribble and right hand dribbling skills;ability to pull up from anywhere
maybe he is hot right now but it wasn't luck and he could reach a new level as a shooter.

isaiah is gifted with a deceleration that allows him to create separation in his mid range
it  allows him to pull up and create separation because defenders are so worried about him getting to rim,
isaiah has become more efficient, players around him are shooting better all of this adds up to an evolving special player

sTart all the threads you want about this guy, and analyze all the stats you want. The bottom line is he passes the eyeball test. Just pay the man, if you do not somebody else will.

I forget the name of it. Maybe it was on ESPN. It showed Isaiah doing strong man exercises. Dragging heavy weights. Isaiah has worked on his stamina. If you can hide his defense, he might be able to play a lot of minutes when it counts. His ability on offense is a true dagger and can crush the life out of other teams.

But he must include the other guys. He can't be LeBron or Carmelo and Kobe with four other guys standing around.

The 15 assist game was great. Marcus Smart and Horford can pile up assists. The more Isaiah rewards his teammates and shows it's about winning, not going for personal trophies, the more those guys will hustle on defense. The funny thing about Smart is he can pile up play after play as a defender. This isn't some tall guy getting two blocks and 8 rebounds just for breathing. He is having the effect Tony Allen had on Memphis as a team. Don't forget about Crowder blossoming. This is a developing situation.

A tall Raptor on offense was backing in on Isaiah, but he ended up tossing an air ball. Teams can't just automatically abuse us because of Isaiah's midget status. He is pretty good for little guy defense. It is what it is. He could be a lot worse on defense. Mike and Tommy pointed out his number is the same as Bobby Orr's. Just imagine what Jaylen Brown is going to turn into under Brad Stevens who is now proven excellence at development skills.

That's why I think we'll keep and develop the picks. Stevens is built to teach young guys how to play well in the NBA. Even older guys like playing here. What the team needs is some easy wins, so then we can solidify or improve on our top seeding and stretch out the roster which helps with Danny's side of things.
