I've always liked Patterson.  Seems to play well against us.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Love the way Brad manages the end of games.

Me too!

He always seems to have more timeouts than the other team, and almost always seems to get great shots out of out of bounds plays.

IT has been that dude.

Pierce is my favorite ball player of all time, and one of my favorite things about his game was how absolutely cold blooded he was it late game situations.

Also, IT's season has been jaw dropping. His efficiency in the 4th quarter, with the amount of points he has scored is unreal. Not to mention he is 5'8".

And Marcus is ALWAYS in the right place, and just makes winning plays. He is like a 10 year veteran, and is 22.

I LOVE THIS TEAM.

The present is bright and the future is brighter.

All the haters on this board only post in the 1st half of games...

The people here who don't watch games, but rely on box scores are going to insult Smart and not realize he's the one who closed out the game.  He's so under appreciated.

Raps just don't quit. I like them as a team.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

You know, that winning play by Smart, that rebound/jump ball/tip to IT is gonna go in the stat book as

1 rebound.

Smart's effect is not quantified so easily.
My biases, in order of fervor:
Pro:
Smart, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Kemba, Grant Williams, Sleepy Williams, Edwards!

Anti:
Kanter, Semi, Theis, Poierier

he was inneficient today.

shot too many threes. That is the takeaway from the box score.

Gah, give up the layup that late up 4.

Could not understand why they risked leaving the 3pt shot open for closing the line

agreed.  usually people whining about his shooting % rather than watching what he does on the court that isn't in the box score that results in a win like this

Does he even get the rebound because it was a jump ball?

What a win.

I'm thrilled for Stevens.  Gets a chance to coach the ASG.

And I'm happy for the fans who showed up to watch the game at TD Garden.  They saw a great game.
