just watched a replay where kelly reached at a very awkward angle at a loose ball that rozier tied up for a jump ball-the positioning and subsequent body contact, to me showed his faith in his shoulder

"the bounce is real" quote  from skal  seems justified by the number of dunks kelly has been showing in recent games-that over the back of head dunk, where did that come from?is this a result of wide wide open from all the high double teaming and attention isaiah is getting-
just too too open and faith in shoulder
it has a bonus of intimidating  and influencing those double teams

I have been a big Olynyk fan since day one, but I always get a little nervous when he has a promising stretch of play.

Hopefully, he has matured enough where he can get to the point where even if his shot's not dropping or he's not feeling the flow offensively, his defense and rebounding don't drop to levels where he's barely playable.

In regards to the dunks, it looks to me like in the last few games, Kelly has really started to learn to add good, useful off-the-ball cutting to his game.  To me, that's a big evolution for him.  If he's going to be a perimeter player offensively, it will help his game tremendously to pick up a few easy buckets a game by making timely cuts when the defenders lose focus on him.

IDK what is up with the dude but he's literally invisible to opposing players (and refs).. until they post him up. Then he's food.

I was thinking it had more to do with playing against teams that had players on them that many feel should have been selected over KO in the draft. KO always has a few mini runs a season. He is a bench player it's what they do.

try to watch him on offense, not the ball. what i found is that he plays an important role in almost every play that does not involve IT hero ball.  ;D

the ball passes through his hands very frequently at the top of circle and he makes good decisions in passing and opening up opportunities for others. the defense has to respect his shooting and driving, so they react to him with the ball, which he then can pass.

the sorts of things he does do not show up on stat sheets. but they help other players on offense.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I think the dunks are coming from him no longer just hanging out at the three point line trying to be a safety valve.  I have been saying for years he needs to play around the paint more to use more of his skills.  He's been doing a lot more of that lately and it's been effective.

Who knows where would we even be without KO's 4th quarter heroics  ::)

But seriously though, he is skilled in how opportunistic/smart he plays and we should retain him, especially if JJ walks.

But I still don't know how he gets opposing players to not pay any attention to him, the scouting report around the league might as well just say "Pump fakes. Don't jump."
