I really hate to admit it but given the sample size, GSW have the title wrapped up this season without any injury.

Amazing to think if Thunder don't blow a 3-1 lead and make the Finals last season, Durant stays

And/Or if Warriors don't blow 3-1 lead in the Finals to Cavs, Durant goes to Celtics in all likelihood

Please don't remind me. :(

I feel the same with Bias.

You could be talking about some dynasties there.

A healthy Bias and Larry Bird; or the choice of and Durant, Isaiah, and Horford on the same team.

Didn't Griffin come back from a recent injury? So give him some time to recover entirely. Paul was out.

I don't know.

I just don't like the Clippers at all. Without Paul or Griffin, they aren't really a good team.

I think that these Clips are not near as good as the Warriors. I can argue that few other teams out on the west could stand better chances of beating them (Sas, Mem, Uta and even Hou), but not Clips. In last four games between this two teams they lost all four by 124 points (thats 31 per game). Nevertheless they played w/o Paul, you can not lose by 46 if you are a contender. Doc as always is just talk. He's not doing a good job with that team and his timeclock is ticking. Before that he's going to do something to save the season. Enter trade for Melo. I think he's going to trade Blake because that team is better with Melo then with him. Plus he is always injured. If he can come up with the third team to realize the trade, I think he should do it (because of that rule, he can't trade Blake to the Knicks with Rose being there). If he can get Melo and one solid player in that deal, he should do it. Paul and Melo are good friends, so that way he keeps Paul tied with the club for the next contract. Maybe even Wade next season...

I disagree. Yes, GSW are the favourite. But it is not wrapped up.

First, they have a more difficult route to the Finals than the Cavs. And, second, the Cavs have a very strong team too.

Besides, sports, not just bball but all sports, are so much fun to watch because there always are surprises. Nothing should be taken for granted IMO.

Well, take out a team's two best players and I think you could say the same thing. Take out Steph and Durant, GSW aren't contenders. Take out Lebron and Kyrie, the Cavs would stink. Take out Kawhi and Aldridge and the Spurs aren't getting very far.

Heck, take out Isaiah and Horford from the C's and you're left with a youth movement that isn't ready to win games.

Always good to see Shaqattack around.

I did not watch the game, so I do not know how bad it really was.

But LAL lost 122-77 to Mavs just a week ago (45 pts). LAC lost for 46 pts (98-144).

To my mind the LAL loss was more unexpected - it also was the worst in their history. LAC's legacy of perennial suckiness is not at stake.

In any case, a fantastic week for LA basketball  ;D

I g2g, so I quickly post this link from 2012 with the worst 5 blowouts in 30 years (might be outdated). Unfortunately, we feature in it...
