OK We all know Philly has their process so this is what I was calling the C's build the "Development". But basically it's not a win now team or let's trade for the big fish now team. It's about competition and development. The team has done the following during its build.

-Good value trades.
IT, Grizz 1st (sort of now), Rondo trade. There will be another good value trade before deadline.
-Value contracts. Green, Crowder, AJ, JJ, and slightly Zeller. Also Horford is still a top 30 player so technically he deserves the contract he got. Also I'm adding Zizic and Yab moves to contracts as they retain their rights and they develop on someone else's dime.
-No dealing Nets picks. This is the big one.

Though what we have is a playoff team and they are winning the C's will be getting increasingly better. If the team stays as is it will have cap space and another top 5 pick this off season to add talent. That means potentially it can be

Starters=IT, AB, Crowder, Horford, Noel(via. Signing)
Along with three primary backups that are developing are all top 6 picks.
Smart PG/SG 6th overall, Brown SG/SF 3rd overall and Nets 2017 TBD will be another top 6 pick.

Look beyond this 2017 and the Nets look like they may be worse in 2018 and that's another top pick. So IMO this team's window isn't even half way open. We just have to show it patience and believe in the Development. This should end up being DA's best rebuild that leads to more championships.

Im on it, and I love it. The development sounds like a great concept, and it outlines the exact route we should take.

Seeing how Smart is still improving and Brown is showing flashes as well as the Warriors and Cavs being clearly superior to any deal we can make right now it's the only logical route. Keep the development going.  Take the good value trades when they come, sign the right contracts for the team and don't trade those Nets picks. Develop the young guys for when Warriors age and LeBron is less of a factor.

I couldn't agree more.
This is the logical choice considering the nba situation right now (superstar are staying in their franchise and/or are detrimental to their team making it a risky move).
Just pick BPA, watch the young develop while we try to make a solid contender via FA/smaller trades.
As a fan, this is the ideal situation. Other teams are getting desperate to get our picks this time. Remember not so long ago, nobody wanted them. Guess what, we are going to draft everything anf be better than other teams for a decade.
