Thought this was kind of interesting. They are obviously still winning tons of games, but pretty interesting reaction from Draymond. Apologies if this was already posted

Wow, that is the most anti Draymond Green play that I have seen out of Draymond Green. The guy usually gives everything, but for him to stand with his hands on his knees once KD put that shot up says something. I'm not sure if that something is that Dray was simply tired and acting immature, or if there's something larger at play.

The challenge for GSW from the beginning of this year was never really about basketball or talent- it was how would 4 stars co-exist. That one clip might be indicative of a bigger issue at hand.

I think this is a one-off. I'd be curious to see if there are more similar acts to follow....
The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.

I don't think this is a huge issue, they still have the best record in the NBA. Unless Durant has a problem with Green being frustrated.

BUT in the back of my mind I am thinking "we're winning, but man do I regret passing on the Celtics for GSW dealing with Green and all those personalities :D"

Doesn't look like trouble at all, especially on the second clip. It was a bad shot. Stuff happens.

I think this is a non-issue.  When a 32-6 team is frustrated at the end of a tough loss, it just says to me that everyone still has their competitive juices fully flowing, which will help them going forward.

There is a definite clash in style between Durant and the rest of the Warriors, at least as far as end-game execution.

To some extent, I think Durant's "Just give me the ball and let me make something happen" attitude is something the Warriors needed a bit more last year in the playoffs, especially the Finals .... however, he nullifies the value of that if he proceeds to take a pull-up three with time left on the clock.

The Warriors are going to need some time to figure out how to close games with Durant in the mix.  They've already figured out how to roll lesser teams over the course of three quarters so that crunch time is mostly unnecessary.  The next step is working on closing things out when the score is close.

I trust them to get there eventually, but Durant is one of their main guys now and he spent the formative years of his career handling crunch time a certain way.  The relatively poor results he's had in crunch time, one might hope, would persuade him to be open to changing his tactics.  But he's so talented that he stands out even while playing alongside other superstars, so perhaps he won't feel compelled to change his approach.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

I don't know. I think they still have a  great chance of a title this year, but I don't really know how much it really is better than it was last year. There is also isn't the same level of excitement out here in the Bay Area as there was last year. I think Klay, Curry and Draymond could have played together a long time pre-KD. I don't see this group together for a long time any more (and not it is not just based on this one incident, the team just looks like they are having less fun now)

It's January.

R-E-L-A-X.

I really don't see it being a big issue.  I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt here and things will work its way out in regards to chemistry.  Also, it looks a lot more of just "Draymond being Draymond".

Well, all the pressure is on them now. Once you build a super team you gotta be ready for the expectations, criticisms, and overall scrutiny that comes with it.

Was going to post this when I was watching that game.

The big negative about Durant is he thinks he should always be the man and get the last shot.

Curry submitted to him, he should not have.

It is a bit surprising the Spurs are only a game back of them for homecourt throughout? It seems like Aldridge, Leonard and 38 year old Gasol should not be winning at as similar a pace as Durant, Curry, Thompson, Green.

I think it's amazing how KD, who by all accounts is a stand up dude, is going to the media's new villain like Lebron was. Watching him act on Bill Simmons and in other interviews, it is almost like he wants the role.
The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.

Chemistry matters. Just ask the Shaq, Kobe, Karl Malone and Gary Payton Lakers, or the Kobe, Gasol, Dwight Howard , Steve Nash Lakers.
