People focusing only on offensive stats are missing how truly special it is to see Marcus play defense.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

BS! That's absolutely perfect defense by Smart!

At times I wonder if refs even ever played basketball before. I swear some of these refs make some of the most boneheaded calls that make literally no sense whatsoever.

Gerald Green should be getting more minutes than he is.  I love his game.

Gerald Green should be getting more minutes than he is.  I love his game.

One would think. He's proved to be a really good complement to Smart off the bench, but even after having several great games, Brad inexplicably just stopped playing him.

Fair to say Marcus Smart can grow into a "Tony Allen" piece with a bit more offense?

And Tony Allen was a big part of the championship team as well.

I think he is already better at offense and defense than TA was.
