I think we should trade the 2018 pick.  I have a feeling Brooklyn will at least be back-end of the lottery next year.


I think most of the interest is due to the hype of this 2017 draft class. I don't think the 2018 pick will have nearly as much value if we try to trade it now. Maybe if we move it a year from now if things for out well , but right now we would be selling low on it I think.

Plus, the 2017 draft seems to be the PG heavy draft, especially at the top, and the 2018 draft so far is projected to be the big man heavy draft, especially at the top. We may be better off moving the 2017 pick and using the 2018 pick.

If Ainge has a plan to somehow pick up 2 great players -- one a scorer; one a defensive/rebounding big (ahhh, Paul George and Deandre Jordan), then I am good with trading the picks.  That's assuming they also keep IT and Al, and at least 1 of Jae, Marcus, Avery.  But...that is impossible.  Ainge should keep the picks.
