 25pts 3-5 3pts,8 rebounds,4 assists,2 steals 2 blocked shots
nice first step, great use of left hand and towards end of game a huge extension high off the glass
his elite wingspan at 7-1 along with being almost ambidextrous allows him to get in lane and get shot off- at 6-7 brings ball up-
on penetration and kick sometimes is overly ambitious on passes cross court
with game on line hits step back fall away to seal victory

Nice.  It is remarkable that players are starting to accept the "Heustis stash".  In Nader's case, it seems like a good gamble because he is pretty good and gives him a chance to showcase his talent.  He might have gone undrafted otherwise.  Meantime he is working for slave wages with no real commitment from any team.

Didn't realize they televise these games on tape delay. Or, maybe this was just an exception?
Just viewed the first quarter...the Red Claws have a few good shooters on that team. Seems to be very well coached.

This is less of a Huestis stash tho.  Huestis was a second round talent who got a first round guarantee for playing in the D-league for a year.  This is a guy getting drafted who otherwise wouldn't, which gives him a better chance to make a roster after a year of indentured servitude.

With regards to Huestis stashes, I am very curious as to whether 1st round draftees will be able to sign the 2-way D-league contracts that are in the new CBA, before signing their 1st round deals a year or two later.  If so, I would expect Ainge to make use of that for a later pick in a year where he has 2-3 1sts (as he does in 2018 and 2019).  I wonder even if that would be an option for Yab or Zizic next year.  That would result in those guys making around $400k in a year, getting some developmental time on the roster, while preserving draft rights and saving a little cap space.

So how much of this is a fluke? James Young was the GOAT in D-League play. Nader definitely looks much more skilled than him though. Any analysis on Nader?

As he shot it... Did he say, "I have you now" in a very monotone almost air-venty voice?

James Young was not that good in the D League, but Mickey on the other hand was great.  Better that they play well than poorly.

Highlights from last night. Sure look like he can score in a variety of ways.

I wonder what is his trade value- just because it might be hard to find room for him on the team next year.

James Young was definitely great in his rookie year in the D-League. Less so his soph year. Around 22 and 5 on good shooting percentages, especially from 3.
