Best I've ever seen IT...super star numbers. This, to me is more impressive than the 52 point game.

There should be NO question about another all-star appearance for IT.

Nice win Celtics.

He likely won't be, but he should be starting alongside Lowry.

I don't know. With it not being a fan popularity contest anymore and other players and the media getting a say, he might have a legit shot.

I think that's especially going to be true after we finish this favorable schedule leading up to the All Star Break. I believe we're only 2.5 games behind Toronto after tonight, so we could legitimately be right there with them with our record at that time, especially if we take advantage of the opportunity and win the game in Toronto next week.

I think he'll be there, but he still doesn't get the respect.  He averaged 30 points for December, including his great 4th quarter numbers, and player of the month still went to John Wall.

I think his injury and missing four games during the month ultimately hurt him. I thought 12/16 games was sufficient, but I guess others didn't think so.

It's still 50% fans AND idiots like Tim Bontemps are voting as part of the media. IT is still largely disrespected by the basketball world.

If ko could ever get hot, this team would be hard to stop.

Second that...his worst shooting % of his career this year.

I guess Jae got a little upset that some of our fans were cheering on Hayward in the intros, presumably due to wanting him as a free agent. Going to be interesting to see how that would play out if getting him as a free agent put Jae back to the bench.

Legitimate gripe. Seriously it is just because he was an ex-Butler-Stevens kid??? Jimmy Butler and Boogie probably get a similar cheer though no?

Yeah, I recall there was cheering for KD last year.  I don't think any Sixers or Pelicans will get cheers tho.

I like you, Jae, but come on, you're not as good as Hayward.

Now he's starting to go a little overboard. You're not that good, Jae.

Perhaps this is a good thing though, because it certainly doesn't look like he's all too keen on any potential movement back to the bench if we'd upgrade our wing spot. He'd more than likely go out in any wing trade anyways, though.

I wonder what he thought about KD cheers last year, since he'd also take his spot at the 3.

He went on the KD recruiting trip, so I'm guessing he was okay ceding time to KD.  But also, both Jae and KD would have started, because we wouldn't have had Amir, JJ, or Zeller if KD had come.

Jae said the cheering lit a fire under him and he was right—6-7 FG, 5-5 3FG, 4-4 FT. I guess Cs fans should cheer for the opposing SF more often.

I guess he realized how absurd it would be to compare himself to KD.

I guess so, though I think we would've made another trade where he would've been our three. I don't think he would've come here or even considered it if they pitched him as the starting four.

Jaylen, or maybe even Crowder, would've probably been in Philadelphia with Noel here as our starting five. Speaking of Jaylen, what does he think he's here for? Ideally, Brown would earn the starting three spot by next year, though realistically that's more like year three or four, if he's not traded.

He's kind of going crazy on Twitter at the moment. I get why he's frustrated, but have a little self control.

Pathetic. He needs to grow up. We're not talking about a star like KD or Lebron. He's had a starting job for a year and a half now; I don't think he is anywhere near a position to be complaining like this.
