Amir has looked decent tonight.

Yup. He still isn't starter quality, but he's elevated himself to very serviceable rotation player.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

Making things better, Philly is up 21 on Minny! After tonight we could be solely in last place with a one full game cushion!

Trade it or draft it?

Depends for who and what else it'd cost. If it can get us a star pretty much by itself with just salary filler (similar to the Love deal), then I say you've got to do it, even if it nails the number one pick.

I sort of agree, but have a hard time with the following:

If we trade a draft pick and filler for a "star", we are likely taking back more salary than we are giving out, which makes it harder for us to sign a big name FA in the offseason.
OTOH, if we keep the draft pick, draft a youngster, we likely can still sign a big name FA in the offseason.

So the big unknown at the time of the draft (or the Feb trade deadline) is the counterfactual--whether we'd be able to attract a top tier, big name FA in the offseason.
Celtics fan for life.

Isaiah's reached a new level.

Agreed. He's doing whatever he wants

Have to agree. He somehow became even more effective than last year.

Can we say that improvements from Bradley, Crowder, and bringing in Horford has given him much more room to operate?

Kelly, usually,  goes on a nice shooting run at some point  in the season.

Then he gets hurt.

Nothing yet...

Two different standards of officiating out there at the moment. They flail and it's a foul; we flail and nothing.

I like that we are utilizing players to their strengths.  Doesn't hurt when IT is on fire as well.

I wish the 3 ad D style of the nba would take a rest though.

It is a profound privelige to watch Isaiah Thomas play basketball.

Nba 2k17 started him at 86 overall and recently moved him to 88.

I love that Thomas followed up his 52 point game where people criticized him for not getting a single assist... by getting his career high in assists.
