For every thousand posts in the forums, a star appears under a poster's name. You may want to take a look at the space between Roy Hobbs' name and his Hoosiers-centric avatar the next time you see one of his posts for a particularly awe-striking demonstration, Dirk.
And no worries about not knowing - the first time I saw this thread pop up in my "Recent Topics" menu was early in the 2007-08 season, and I started thinking to myself, "Did someone seriously spike the green Kool-Aid to the point that people now think Perk or Rondo has already become some kind of superstar?"
Not quite as ridiculous now, though...
