http://thesixersense.com/2016/12/26/nba-trade-rumors-philadealphia-trade-anthology/

Found this article the other day.  Nice breakdown of all the teams although philly still holding out hope he stays.  This site also has him going to the spurs and Okafor to Dallas feeling like those teams are good trade partners.

The celtics are 22nd on the list

Quote
The Boston Celtics have been linked to one of the Philadelphia 76ers surplus centers since the trade deadline of the 2015-2016 season. In the words of Celtics president Danny Ainge: “I can’t tell you the team or the name, but it was very close. It was something we had been deliberating on for two days straight,” said Ainge. “We were wrapping ourselves around a big package to do a deal, and at the very last minute … they did not want to do it, they backed out.”
The other team is now very much thought to be the Philadelphia 76ers, and the reason the 76ers backed out is now thought to be Jerry Colangelo – who did not want the team to make any major moves before his son, Bryan Colangelo, arrived.
C’est Le Vie.
The fact that the team, and particularly, the Colangelos, left Ainge waiting at the altar explains the sudden low balling from the Celtics organization after the fact. However, the Celtics disappointed in the 2016 NBA Draft as well. Many had higher expectations than the team delivered, despite holding a myriad of draft selections in the 2016 NBA Draft. For now, the Celtics have Al Horford in the role at center. But they know all too well how the team can struggle without a solid post presence. Noel gives them insurance. Will they take it? Only if Ainge swallows his pride and delivers a fair market offer for Noel before the Raptors do so.

Fit: Hot
Interest: Warm
Public Sentiment: Hot

A lot of teams are going to be bidding for these guys.  I think it's fairly unlikely we make a deal but hard to find quality big men for sure.  We may be left looking at the scrap heap.  A lot of teams are hot for Noel according to this site and it's a sixers fan site so who knows.

yeah it has nothing to do with who's hot and cold for him.  Just a list.  Some decent info though.

His value is pretty low. A pretty objective third party writer through together some trade proposals.

http://www.nba.com/article/2016/12/26/morning-tip-what-should-sixers-do-nerlens-noel

Here are his ideas

Noel + F Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot for F Ed Davis, G Shabazz Napier
Noel + SF Robert Covington to Toronto for SF Terrence Ross and 2017 first-round pick (LA Clippers)
Noel to Oklahoma City for C Joffrey Lauvergne, G Cameron Payne, F Josh Huestis
Noel + future second-round pick to New Orleans for PG Jrue Holiday

Note that Holiday will be a free agent also at the end of this season. There isn't a lot of value for Noel or Okafor as much as the 76ers wish it wasn't true. For whatever reason it seems like Ainge doesn't want Noel or he would already be here pretty cheap.

Colangelo has said he's not going to make a bad trade just to make a trade.  The only one of those trades that makes an iota of sense from the Sixers standpoint would be the Toronto trade.  Letting Noel walk for nothing would be better than the other three trades.  If any of the teams suggested actually want Noel, they'll have to put a decent trade offer on the table as none of them will have cap space unless NOP lets both Holiday and Evans walk.

Has a gm ever said "yeah I'm gonna make a bad trade. I just want to make one bad" in the history of the NBA? This couldn't be less meaningless of a statement

Lol for real. The Colangelos screwed up when they didn't take the Boston deal at the draft. They're not going to get anything near equal value for either of their players now.

I still hold one, if not both, of them will be traded by the deadline and for nothing near equal value. The Colangelos would be pretty stupid to not do so and try to hang on to all three of them. Obviously, they talked to Noel and told him the situation would be fixed shortly, which is why he's playing along for now. But if neither him nor Okafor are traded before the deadline, expect some more resistance from Noel.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

I phrased that poorly.  The comment was in regards to being forced to make a trade because of their big man log jam.  He specifically mentioned turning down a trade offer for someone making 10M for several years who they were interested in (Ross?).  Making a trade that doesn't bring back a good return isn't the same as making a bad trade.

That OKC trade looks decent to me too.

None of those "objective" trades madke a [dang] bit of sense...

In fact, in fact they'd be better off letting him walk than doing any of that.

I don't think his value is high anymore, I just think those trades were constructed by a moron.

But you'd have to cut 2 players before the deal could be made. I'm not saying they value their 14th and 15th players that highly but you rarely see teams do it. They'd have to cut their own players, they couldn't cut Lauvergne and Huestis
