Even with CP3 being a few years older, IT's size would likely lessen the advantage he'd have otherwise. Paul is the far superior player now, and is the clear answer.

I have never been a big CP3 Guy.. he has not done anything of any real significance and he has been on teams much more talented than IT...

At this point, considering Age and discounting The cool commercials I dont see how you would want CP over IT... He does nothing better at this stage of the game outside of Defense.. And at this stage the defense he provides is trumped by his salary..

Having CP instead of IT brings you no closer to a Ring...

The commercials are funny though.

And yes he is a future HOF but he is not playing at that HOF level level today.. Heck, Dominique was also a future hall of famer when we got him, Shaq too right :)

To me IT is pure guard 85 % effective shooting , running driving , one on one getting his shot.

CP3 is a true point guard assist / floor general first, that's has a nice out side stroke.

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
CP3 is a top 10 player when he's clicking on all cylinders, and is literally the only reason the Clippers are staying afloat. Blake did well last time, but with his recent injury, would probably need a few weeks/months or even a season to recover entirely to still be the 1A/1B.

I take CP3 right now. He's a true floor general, can score, is nifty and shifty, while playing stellar defense and making everyone better around him. He has the benefits of Jordan and Griffin, so I wonder how CP3 would affect Horford, Crowder, or Bradley, who are all excellent catch and shoot players.

Isaiah Thomas is severely underrated. He's literally a few spots below CP3, and not by far. Eventually, if IT can keep up this resurgence, he can eventually surpass CP3 value wise.
