As of today, December 23, Isaiah is #2 in the league in 4th quarter points per game with 8.4.  He's 1st in 4th quarter FTA with 4.0.

His shooting splits in the 4th: 45 - 38 - 87

What makes this even more impressive is that Isaiah is not even in the top 50 in 4th quarter minutes per game; he only plays 7 minutes in the 4th quarter on average.

You do have to appreciate our guard rotation and Stevens use of Thomas.  Our best offensive weapon is fully rested for fourth quarter heroics!

He averages over 8 points in 7 minutes per game in the fourth quarter?  [Dang], that's impressive

Is Westbrook number 1?
I'm bitter.

BOS is 2nd in the NBA in net 4Q rating (OFF - DEF Rating per 100 possessions) primarily because of:

Best PER in 4th Quarter/OT This Season
Isaiah Thomas          42.5
Russell Westbrook    40.4
DeMar DeRozan        32.9

Having a closer is not to be underestimated. Many players don't want the ball down the stretch. Another reason why PP and LB were great too.

Great post Pho. TP.

I feel like many Celtics fans underrate "The Little Guy".

I am glad he is on our squad, because he is one of my favorite players to watch. A real offensive dynamo.

Keep being a real killa IT.
