is so quick with his elevation and his second jump on offensive putbacks
its no accident he is rebounding so well
-he gets to the hoop off dribble now
just a  joy to watch on defensive end-

Bradley?
that's his brother i think.  ;)

but to change to the topic, the boston celtics' bradley is really rebounding at a very good rate this year. he went this season from a career average of around 2.8 to a season average of 7.4! now THAT is a leap in stats.

right now he is tied for second with rebounding average among sg. only harden is better.

add to this he sudden improved (though not elite) ability to drive to the basket and bradley has become a very interesting basketball player.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Bradley is one of those players you can tell just came out of college too early. It is great that the Celtics stayed with him and the team is now reaping the rewards of that patience.

I can't believe it. At this point, it's gone beyond "he's had a few good rebounding games to start the year."

Worth pointing out that he's done this while averaging career highs in fg%, 3pt%, points and assists. Not clear he's given anything up on the defensive end, either.

If he keeps it up he will be the only player in NBA history to average more than 7 rebounds per game, being listed at 6'2" or less. Westbrook and Fat Lever were both 6'3".

(Yeah I know, I like making those lists.)

I suspect 6'2 then and 6'2 now mean drastically different things. Just sayin'

You know I did the search on "modern era" then looked up the whole history and saw West...but forgot to update my post.

TP for keeping me honest.

sorry about spelling, it was 3:30 in morning over here but that didn't stop me from going "man he gets up quick" off two feet with elevation and his reflexes and timing enable him to snap/ snatch rebounds
you can see the attributes that make him a great defender-,determination,focus timing, reflexes, experience, bbiq
avery is one of the most complete guards in league
