This is the Celtics and it's not particularly close. KG and Perk the Warriors have no answer for. KG would dog Green. Pierce played really good defense on LeBron that year so he should be able to handle KD. Then you have Rondo and Ray vs Curry and Thompson. Slight edge to the Warriors. The Bench absolutely goes to the Celtics. I think Celtics in 6.
It is no where near a slight edge to the Warriors in the backcourt. It is an insurmountable gap. Rondo was way too young to do anything defensively and Allen had already lost a step and was never a good defender. Curry and Thompson would score at will. And yeah Pierce played good defense on James, but James wasn't playing offense with Curry, Thompson, and Green either. Durant wouldn't need to play hero ball like James was forced to do. Garnett would Green would be an interesting matchup. Garnett was clearly a better all around player, but Green is a good enough defender that he would have irritated the crap out of Garnett and because Green is an excellent shooter he would draw Garnett out of the paint where his defense is most effective. Perkins would barely play because the only person he can guard is Pachulia who would barely play in the series.
The Warriors would beat the Celtics. I think the games would be close, but I really can't see the Warriors not winning in 6 or less games.
