We would at least be on equal terms with the topthree teams on any given night .  And we would be better than the raptors most any time.

The guy makes a strong case to trade for Cousins.

8 mins into the video he talks about Cousins to the Celtics.

Cousins put up numbers per 100 possessions better than any one in NBA history.

The only players in NBA history to avg the numbers Cousins has  in their first 6 seasons are Hakeem, Robinson, and Cousins that's it.

Like I've said before, there is no doubt in my mind we'd win a championship with this guy.  Get him.

I always said when I left the Celtics, I could not go to heaven, because that would

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
I like Mike Korzemba.

He's usually very good opinionated, and rarely ever shows off too much bias.

All of his points were spot on. Also as he said, DMC does plenty of charity work, people I know from Sacramento tell me he's one of the best well liked guys in the community. He once had an annual food drive for the homeless, and supported the organization that set it up by personally taking time out of his day to hand out clothes himself.

We take so much hating him on the court, but he's a great guy off the court...

It's based on your perspective, quite simply
We're the same and we're not; know what I'm saying? Listen
Son, I ain't better than you, I just think different

What makes you think we have a chance to acquire Cousins? Other than in free agency where he would literally give up millions, and millions of dollars to come to frosty Boston, rather than stay in Sacramento where I'm sure his entire family is tucked in nice and tight.

Has he requested a trade? Has he even expressed a desire to play anywhere else ever? Has he even stated he's tired of loosing year after year, and not making the playoffs? No. Actually he seams quite content in warm, sunny Sacramento. Face it...some players don't care about winning a championship, they just pretend they do. They want to get as much cash as they can before they retire.

Next, the Kings are building a new half Billion dollar arena, why on earth would they, and their investors rid themselves of their number one commodity, and draw before this arena is complete? No matter how poor his actions are.

Until I hear him say, "I want out of Sacramento, I want to win a championship with another team"
I'm not going to get excited.

Why wouldnt the kings be scared?
Think OKC deserve what happened to them when Harden and KD left for nothing.

Free agency is a reality any team faces and even the best managed teams still lose their key guy or superstar. Why would the Kings let Boogie walk in a yrs time...and believe me he will. Money is all bleh...he is still a multimillionaire however you spin it..he wont stay in Sacramento when hia contract is up and if I had enough money Id make alot by preducting he would leave the Kings...question now is..do you want nothing in return?

I don't get what you say. Seems that there is no chance for a trade to be done if a player doesn't express his desire to be traded in public. You really think that??

Read the second part...The Kings are building a new arena, the odds of him being traded before completion is very low. We're talking a 500 million dollars build. Would you just dump the organizations greatest asset. NO.

What I'm saying is Cousins never express be fed-up with the loosing. And the owners are building a new arena...put two and two together.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have a Cousins type talent heading to the C's. I'm just not hearing Cousins desire to leave, nor the Kings being stupid enough to dump Cousins before they open their new show place.  i.e. they have investors to consider.

Is the new arena not finished? I thought they moved into a new arena earlier this season.

Why are some of these post talking about how Cousins hasnt stated anything publically?

He literally tweeted dismay the moment his team drafted a big.  He has stated many many times he is sick of losing.  He has tons of public outburst towards reporters.   Dude is the model of discontent.

you may have answered your own question.  Cousins is just an asset at this point.

Not a leader, not a game-changer, not indispensable to a winning culture.

His sole worth right now is as an asset, and assets are meant to be cashed in, preferably when value is high.  That sell-high window closes in approx. two months, after which he becomes a lost cause that either leaves Sac high and dry, or they end up paying handsomely to lead them to more 30 win seasons.

Honestly, if i'm in ownerships shoes, I'd want a fresh start to go with a new arena.  Young teams that play hard get fan's excited, give them a reason to come back out to see the team play.  Would you go pay good money to watch DC's perpetual sour puss?  I don't see the entertainment value in that.

It'd be different if he affected winning.  But Cousins, for all his talent, doesn't win games.

Even last year, with Rondo playing well and a vet scorer on the wing in Gay, they couldn't crack the playoffs.  Keeping him now all but guarantees another five trips to the lotto.
