1-15 from 3.  If we're 5-15, which is still below average for what we'd shoot on average for the year, this is a 2 point game.   Hopefully the averages even out in the second half.
It seems they are resorting to shooting threes because they have no one outside IT who can consistently take it to the basket. Once a defense knows you aren't driving, it's a huge disadvantage.

I mean, maybe they are.  But they average 31 threes a game on the season, so taking 15 in a half is nothing unusual.  Normally they score 1.06 points per possession when they take a 3, so that's a pretty effective shot.  First half today, not so much.  Second half has gone better.  I'm inclined to attribute it to randomness.
I wasn't talk is out whether the 3 ball is effective, clearly not in this game, but about why they do it. I do not miss Turner, but he was at least be capable of driving or the paint.

I know.  My point was if they're making over 35% of their 3's on a high volume of shots, it hasn't overall proven to be a disadvantage on offense.
OK fair enough.  So this is who they are...pretty one dimensional and a bit boring if you ask me.

Just let Jaylen Brown get his NBA legs under him.  He'll start collapsing defenses before too long, and it will be a little less boring.

I'm never bored with Jaylen on the floor!

Wow what a move by Jaylen.  Just exploded in half court and took it right down against 4 Grizzlies and side stepped Gasol for a beautiful layup.

Jaylen Brown isn't a good NBA player yet, but it's really easy to see how he will be before too long.

Yup, TP.

New game with just. Over 6 minutes. To go, can't ask for more than that tonight.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Don't trade Jaylen! He will be a 20ppg scorer next season.

That is such a BS call! That's perfect defense by JJ. You can't just fling yourself into someone and flop and it be called a foul.
