Smart 7 for his last 33

7-33 three points

He is now shooting 27% on 3's

Terrible offensive player, makes Rondo look like Ray Allen.

What tha hell is Danny gonna do with all those useless picks?  Just get Cousins already.

It takes two to tango.
I think the ball is pretty clearly in our court. Danny could definitely get him if he wanted to, and not even give up one of our core players right now. Just doesn't seem to want to empty his trunk of picks for him.
Disagree. Ranadive doesn't want to trade Cousins because he just got a new stadium and wants to attract fans and he knows that he's the only player that can do it. If he trades away him, a superstar player, he loses his fan base because they are a horrible franchise outside of drafting Boogie

C's desperately need someone who can score without having to chuck a 3.   other than IT and Horford, we're really hurting in that aspect

Good defensive effort by IT.  Just too short to truly contest the shot.

I'd say the Celtics can't shoot any worse in the second half, but we all know this team can do it.

Green with 11 boards... we don't have a guy that could get 11 boards in a game (at least it feels that way) let alone a half

Bradley?

True. I'll rephrase and say a big...

This is a 500 ball club right now. They have taken a step back even with addition of Horford. The second unit misses Turner big time. Smart hasn't improved his game enough for the Celtics not to miss Turner on that second unit. If Ainge can't make a trade soon this team will be a 6th or 7th seed and one and done again in the playoffs. Waiting on these draft picks in the future if a trade can't be made will ensure the Celtics as the new Hawks for a while. Good enough to make the playoffs but not good enough to advance. Need to get lucky in the draft I guess and we know how that turns out.
lol we've had some bad injury luck, played more away games than anyone else in the league and despite all this, we are still above .500

At least we scored more than 30 this half...
I'm bitter.

1-15 from 3.  If we're 5-15, which is still below average for what we'd shoot on average for the year, this is a 2 point game.   Hopefully the averages even out in the second half.

It should be way more than a 14 point lead. We played really bad but are still in this.

31 points in the half, is this even an NBA game?

I don't see how you would know that to be true?
....Look at our assets dude. We could easily blow them away with an offer of Jaylen Brown, Rozier, Amir, Zizic, 2017 and 2018 nets picks, and 2019 memphis pick. Demarcus Cousins is NOT untouchable, it would just take an offer like that to get him.
CB Mock Deadline - Minnesota Timberwolves
Kemba Walker / Tyus Jones / Aaron Brooks
Jimmy Butler / Jamal Crawford / Treveon Graham
Rodney Hood / Nic Batum / Marcus Georges Hunt
Taj Gibson / Nemanja Bjelica / Jonas Jerebko
KAT / Derrick Favors / Cole Aldrich
Picks - 2018 CHA 1st (Lotto protected), none out

It's find to moan about this game - it's currently painful to watch - but so many immature Cs fans on this board just overreact every time something negative happens. I do not understand the lack of perspective by some folks.
Jaylen Brown will be an All Star in the next 5 years.
