The stat presented is irrelevant. The point the OP is trying to convey is that the Celtics can not beat good teams. To be honest, i would be really surprised if Boston, as currently constructed, could win a playoff series.

Do you remember how bad we were before IT? Is it a surprise we are bad again without him?

You do realize most of those losses to those teams came WITH IT4, right?

I'm not exactly sure how the number was derived cause some teams were above .600 when we lost but no longer are. So far we lost to Spurs, OKC and Toronto without him which is already half. Then we lost to Cleveland and warriors without horford. So yea...

So now you're adding Horford to the mix to be right? Come on man. Just admit it, we weren't beating them with or without IT4! If you said "health" then I would understand but get real, we haven't been good enough against the best teams at all!
you list 6 games. Half of them we were losing our primary scorer and ball handler. Kind of makes the statistic a little silly. You add in that we were missing our other best player for 2 more of the games and the numbers really mean very little.

LOL the point stands that no matter how you slice it injuries to more than IT4 have been the issue! We weren't beating them with him or without him but it's nice to pretend like being without him is the reason we were bad, it doesn't matter if you add in other players on your subsequent posts, we need more than IT4 to beat these guys (starts with getting a big who can consistently do his job)! Your first post only mentioned IT4! We miss him no doubt about it but we are missing something (big) else!

You don't think we would have beat OKC a game we led pretty much the entire time if we had someone to create offense in the 4th? I think it is highly probably we would have won that game. Do you think we don't lose a 12 point third quarter lead against the raptors with IT to create offense during a drought? I certainly think we do. Just be realistic is all I am asking. I am not sitting here claiming we beat the Warriors or Spurs with our current team. We certainly can beat the raptors or OKC (or Houston) with our best player playing.

You can play those what ifs but there is always the alternative of what if we were never in those positions in the first place WITH it4! I'm going by what actually happened and our losses to Cavs and GSW were the worst because those teams beat us handily until they let down and IT4 was there for that. My point is that IT4 being out isn't the only problem. We need health of all and the bigs to act like they know how to play the game! We were close to beating all these teams (except GSW) but we can't do it by killing the guards because these health problems aren't going to be better later in the season if they have to keep carrying the load! I knew it4 was going down eventually because he was already probably tired as hell!! Watch, we will start winning like every season with these same bigs up until we reach the playoffs again. Then we will see CBS have to sit them because good teams will force it once again and then we'll be out of luck against them!

It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Last year our effort beat a lot of talent.  This year it has not been the same.

We've reverted back to the way it was since Brad came. Hanging on with elite teams only to lose on a small margin. The only difference is we have upgraded our talent but not so much.

It's December not May or June.

I clearly remember the team before IT, they were scrappy, hungry, and showing well even in losses.

The team I see now, without IT, is less so, they look like they haven't really improved individually or as a team. The loss of Sully's rebounding, and Turners scoring haven't really been addressed.

We've had a really hard stretch of games, especially on the road, and he haven't played together with our full compliment of players in any of them so the chemistry and rotations just aren't there yet. Yet, we're competitive in all these games against the top teams in the west. I'm pretty sure in every single one of those games against .600 win percentage teams we've not had either Isaiah, Horford, and Crowder. Some without Horford and Crowder. We also started the season without Smart.
