Celtics broadcasters find the most random stats to be impressed by

"Bradley a top 5 FG% shooter on the road"

Over a 17 year career Pau has made 88 three pointers... he just made his 89th. Unbelievable

Just to avoid the needless turnovers that have plagued us for the last few games.  Take care of the ball.

Here we go we are heating up. Told y'all

Yeah, but that's the problem. We rely too much on hitting shots to win. We get blown out when we don't hit shots, and it's compounded when we don't get the stops we're getting now, too.

Well you need to put the ball in the hoop to win so not so worried about that, but yeah we do need to be more consistent offensively. That will come when IT comes back.

Well, there's a difference between putting the ball into the hoop at the basket and putting the ball into the hoop from the three point line. We rely way too heavily on the three point line, and that's why we have these big runs and scoreless periods.

We also don't have the defensive presence that we had last year, so we don't get the easier transition buckets, which compounds our three point shooting problem by making more halfcourt possessions.

We'd fix so much if we'd get back to our defensive ways from last year.

Bradley has made some really great improvement over the last couple of years.  Is there any chance he sniffs an all star nod this year?

Agreed, but I think the problem is that we don't have the personnel to get to the rim at will. We have an undersized 6'6" Crowder with about average athleticism, a undersized 6'2" Bradley that struggles to get to the rim, and an undersized IT. Our team isn't built to finish well around the rim and over length. The only reason IT can is because he's a just a dynamic playmaker and a very underrated athlete.

Also it's clear that that defensive mentality isn't coming back even with Smart starting so I think we need to insert IT into the starting lineup just so that we have a serviceable offense.
