I don't think Ainge will have a tough decision this season. Something gets done.

i like to think brad is smarter than i think he is and just lets this team sink or swim as a learning experience but honestly he is not that smart sometimes.  overrated in that regard.

Yea, there are holes.  The plays out of time outs sometimes have me scratching my head like "that's what you drew at timeout?"  Might as well not call a timeout.  Yea it's frustrating.

I always said when I left the Celtics, I could not go to heaven, because that would
be a step down. I am pure 100 percent Celtic. I think if you slashed my wrists, my
blood would’ve been green.  -  Bill "Greatest of All Time" Russell

Sucks when best player on floor plays for other team.
I don't know why, but this season, this fact bothers me the most. I'd rather have Jimmy Butler than Crowder and Bradley.

That's the difference between them.  Butler can bring it EVERy night , AB on occasion .

That's why we need Paul George ....we need that long scorer , like LeBron can go get you a bucket , but is tall enough to defend the star players.

IT can t defend the tall end of game super stars ....KD , Westbrooke , so forth......

Well, the good news is there are something like 10-15 teams in the league that can't put a better player on the floor than the Celts can when everybody is healthy.

we are now 6th in the East.
Teams got some serious holes.  Not the coaches fault.  They're taking a step back in order to hopefully take a couple of steps forward.

Just have to deal with the loss. Smart and Briwn played solid games. Their growth is just as important as a W here.

Yup......they need the chance to improve to be more valuable as players at the season s end toward a playoff run. and assets for the club in the off season.

For the life of me won't understand Brad doing 2 things in that 4th quarter:

1) Not running everything through Smart (versus Bradley, who was awful tonight)

2) Putting Rozier in for Crowder when he fouled out, when Brown was playing more than good enough to close the game

at some point, when you lose these games in the 4th quarter, you have to look at Stevens as the reason

why did we go away from smart on Westbrook?

Because Brad doesn't know what he's doing. That's the only thing I can come up with at this point.

His honeymoon is definitely over this year. He's been very, very suspect in a lot of these games and with his rotation decisions. Going small and putting Rozier on Westbrook at the end was such a stupid decision, along with those terrible ATO's that he called.
Most coaches would had buried Smart on the bench a long time ago. Brad deserves credit for playing Snart as much as he does.

Why didn't Al kick the ball out to KO instead of going for two?  Just a terrible decision in a 4th quarter of terrible decisions by Horford.  Maybe he still has a concussion.

He had poor defense all in the 4th; he forced that one shot that got blocked WITH 23 SECONDS LEFT ON THE SHOT CLOCK; and he had that unforced turnover. Terrible play by him in the 4th, and AB matched his terrible play, though at least he had some good plays to make up for it.

We've had a pretty tough stretch of games here. I like how we're playing, and when the schedule gets a bit easier - we'll be able to put some W's up on the board.

Because if the ball gets stuck with Smart you don't want him shooting. Similar problem with Rondo. Nice player with the ball in his hands until the game gets down to 2-3 minutes left.
