re-signed with Rockets

What were the terms? Did BJ Armstrong's hard-line tactics pay off?

It looks like the Pelicans will get him for the vet minimum for one year. Why didn't we do that? Are we just huge believers in Jordan Mickey and Demetrious Jackson? If we are shouldn't we play them more?

He would have instantly been better than KO.

I'm pretty sure his injury status has played a big role in this whole thing, no?

That said, if he is healthy, I don't see why cutting James Young or Mickey and signing D-Mo didn't at least come under consideration. He's like a better version of Jerebko when healthy. He'd for pretty in Zeller's minutes.

I dont think he would want to come here. He wants playing time, a chance to prove his value and earn a payday this summer. He probably wouldn't get that here. NO is going to be a great fit for him.  They need someone like him next to Anthony Davis.

Is he that big of an upgrade over JJ or KO? I mean it would take a while for him to learn the system and integrate into our playing style. By that point he might already be redundant on the roster. With the guys currently here they are at least tradeable this year

Nope, he had that flash in the pan, then the league adjusted and he has been lost ever since.

He's a clear upgrade over both, and at the vet min he would cost a lost less than either of them, so it doesnt matter if he's not traceable this year.

But JJ and KO totally adjusted with the adjustment are legit contributing swing forwards?

At least he'd be more likely to get playoff checks here. And top notch coaching

He has to fight for minutes in NO too. Ironically with Terrence Jones, just like before. And I suppose to a lesser extent with Asik and Ajinca

Well, Omer Asik doesnt get any minutes, Ajinca barely gets any, and by all reports they aren't happy with Terrence Jones being the backup center in NO, rightfully so. They have long wanted a stretch big man to pair with Davis. It's Motiejunas' playing time to lose.

I see what you're saying, but if you take Horford and A Davis out of it the rest of our bigs might be worse than the rest of theirs. I mean a trade of ours for theirs straight up...I'd probably take it, money issues aside
