I don't understand this crowd with Jaylen Brown. It seems like there are people who are either super-critical of him and then there are complete Brown homers. Why can't people sit on the border and let his game prove to us whether he was worth the 3rd overall pick?

Plenty of people are, but those people aren't the ones talking about him, it's the people that love him or hate him that are
I'm bitter.

The Celtics have been pretty bad the last three games. One player who comes to mind who has been really bad the last three games is Smart. We need him to play better. He's just not having the same impact lately.

It's no coincidence that in those games Brad has taken the ball out of his hands and had him off the ball. He's basically trying to make a square peg fit a round hole.

Three ball is just not there ,  do we not have ANY inside plays.
No because without Horford in we have no bigs with a back to the basket game

If most of our bigs can hit a three, why not post Smart and Jaylen more?
We do post Smart often when his confidence isn't in the ****s because he can't shoot right now. As for Brown I just think Brad is sending a message to him that if you don't play fundamental basketball you aren't playing.
Really think that Brown should be in the D-League for now.
I think Ainge asked Stevens to play brown so Stevens plays him until he messes up.

When did Brown "Mess up" tonight?

Kelly would have been more useful at 6 ft than 7

I think you are describing Nik Stauskas.

I'm sorry, but Bradley and Smart are so overrated on defense. Are they good defenders? Yes, but to me Horford has been our biggest difference maker on the defensive end.

bradley seems to be coasting on defense a lot this season, maybe he learned that from rondo..

I'm not sure what you're watching, but Smart and Horford are the only ones who have consistently defended all season long. Bradley and Crowder both have been subpar this year.

Whatever it is I think there is a correlation between Smart's recent play and how we've looked recently. Hes probably either our third or fourth most important player and can impact the gane in so many different ways. I'm just not seeing him impacting the game at all lately. Very frustrating.

On defense was playing sub-par and gave up a 3. Was just on the court and wasn't really doing anything.

I never thought I'd be jealous of the Nets. At least the Nets look like they're trying hard when they are out there.
My biases, in order of fervor:
Pro:
Smart, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Kemba, Grant Williams, Sleepy Williams, Edwards!

Anti:
Kanter, Semi, Theis, Poierier
