8/14 on threes for the 6ers

They can't keep that up
I'm bitter.

Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Our new thing seems to be playing to the competition this year.  Though we fell into that habit at times last year, we mostly controlled the pace / tempo and it all started with defense.  I miss that.

me too. We were so much fun to watch last year.
My biases, in order of fervor:
Pro:
Smart, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Kemba, Grant Williams, Sleepy Williams, Edwards!

Anti:
Kanter, Semi, Theis, Poierier

The energy has been low so far this year.

Why is it that the only one we have pushing the pace is our rookie? Am I taking crazy pills? I remember that we used to get out and run last year. Where is that pace this year? Why do we walk the ball up or go for the home run pass every time. Can't we just MOVE THE BALL?

Jaylen made a great push and then was yanked. What message does that send.

What great push?
When Jaylen grabbed the rebound and went the length of the floor. He missed the layup but it was a good quick push.

He couldn't finish a simple layup.  He earned the bench.
That was not a simple layup. Not even close.

Three ball is just not there ,  do we not have ANY inside plays.
No because without Horford in we have no bigs with a back to the basket game

Yeah that would've been a big time finish and it just rolled out.

Am I the only one that finds it humorous Philly is touting their two championships on their center court logo? Championships that are from over 30 years ago, no less.

I don't think any other team does that.

Our guys look awful tonight. I'd trade them all for Embiid if they played like this all the time.

If most of our bigs can hit a three, why not post Smart and Jaylen more?

The team is not greater than the sum of their parts.

And what gets me about Zeller is his awful awareness, he never catches the ball when its not a direct pass

I don't understand this crowd with Jaylen Brown. It seems like there are people who are either super-critical of him and then there are complete Brown homers. Why can't people sit on the border and let his game prove to us whether he was worth the 3rd overall pick?
