dont go after anyone to "stick it" to anyone.

Make the decisions that are best for your basketball team based strictly on basketball reasons.

If he does that just to stick to Riley then i`d like to see him go

Ainge should not go after Bosh because he won't be able to pass a physical and it would just be a waste of time.

How much time are we talking?  A handful of hours?

That seems like a worthy investment in an All-Star who would play for the Vet minimum.

Bosh thinks he can play. His doctor purportedly thinks he can play. Other players, in more physical sports, have played.

Given what happened to Reggie Lewis, the Boston Celtics organization can't even consider risking the same thing happening again, even if the risk is much lower.  There is an outside chance that Bosh could die from his condition... just not worth it IMO.  The way that the doctors mishandled Reggie's condition and gave him the go ahead to play is a black mark on the franchise, unfortunately.

No. He might go after Bosh, but it won't be to "stick it to Riley".
Celtics fan for life.

If the blood thinners are out of his system at game time, there's really no additional risk from him playing.

You're making me want to see him die on the court just to prove you wrong.

MIA is certainly the best informed team about Bosh's situation. If they decide to give up on him, it would mean sthg.

They're also the team with the biggest incentive to sit him.

Assuming Bosh can get cleared I have no idea why he would come to Boston.  Boston isn't a Chris Bosh away from a title.  I would expect that he would go to a contender or a place where he has friends or comfort.  I would think Cleveland would be the most likely destination.  A real contender, he has a friend there, and while Bosh would have a large role, he wouldn't be counted on night in and night out so he can take games off if he needs to regulate his medicine, doctor's appts, etc.  Cleveland also has one of the best hospitals in the world so he can continue to get great care (I realize Boston and other places also have great hospitals, but those places don't have Lebron James and aren't real contenders).
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

perhaps Boston is just a stepping stone for him to get meaningful minutes for him to play somewhere else? I'd take that risk for vet minimum only

Ainge should go after Bosh because he can help the team and would be making a minimal salary.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.
