Honestly, who cares?  Even though I like Doc and he guided the C's to a championship, he is still a jerk. There will be Nets wins that are undeserved, what can you do?  There are some complaints about parity in the NBA, but on any given night anyone can beat anyone else.  Don't lose sleep.

Good coaches make their players better, most coaches are as good as their players.   Spoelstra is the classic example of this one.

s probably as good or better than Doc as a pure coach .  Doc has fame as former great player ,  and is a great people person .  Able to handle extreme personalities of guys that many times, not always , have far more money than common sense.

If we don't get their 1st by 2020, all we end up with is their 2022 2nd rounder.  As 1st rounders go, it is not a very good asset.

Doc is an average coach. His obsession with "going small" sometimes hurts him.
