I think the Celts might be inherently flawed against teams with quality traditional size inside

That's why we NEED Okafor if we can't get Cousins

Maybe Okafor ends up being a good player long-term, but right now, he's a massive negative.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

anything has to be an upgrade over Zeller... heck grab Reggie Evans, I don't care how old he is we need some toughness and rebounding...

Also the 24 to 4 free throws isn't doing us any favors...

We deserve that discrepancy with our play.. not the refs' fault.

Cant complain tho. They've been taking it to us. We've been bombing threes and missing.

I guess but spotting the other team 20 points seems excessive...

This effort is uncalled for. They need to work their asses off if Horford is going to work his ass off out there. C'mon guy

Celtics are liable to lose two of the four factors every night. Rebounding and free-throws. Our only hope, like last season, is two force a bunch of turnovers and shoot just well enough.

Reggie was looking like he was done last year but yeah, he'd be more productive than either Zeller or KO right now

Zeller is literally so useless on the defensive end... may as well be 4 vs 5

Wiggins just butted him out of the lane...

Wolves are smart and are just taking it at him every time... he can't defend anything
every team this year has been doing this with all our bigs except against Horford.  we're not sneaking up on anyone this year and every team knows we're even weaker on the boards this year without Sully and Turner.

Yeah I give DA credit for a lot but not getting a replacement for Sully was a huge fail on his part... putting way too much faith into Amir/Zeller. Zeller was a bench warmer last year for God sakes we downgraded
getting Horford was fantastic but Danny really needed to get another big man that was better than Zeller on the boards and defense.  Gerald Green wasn't the guy to take a flyer on.

optimistic thought: maybe next year we get Zizic and Yabu to come over to replace Zeller and KO and they provide us with better rebounding, scoring and D.  hard to see them providing less.  getting a decent FA big man would help too.

I don't really blame Danny for not upgrading Amir this summer, because he just majorly regressed this year. Before the season he seemed like a competent defensive fifth starter.

But it's so very apparent that his starter days are done now. He really should only be playing 15 minutes per game as a backup C at this point. And we don't have any other options that are better at this point. KO and Zeller are just simply too soft.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

He's better than Amir, young, talented, and on a good contract. If we can nab him I would.

Captain Obvious says that Danny's blind spot is center.

I like the poise by brown to swing that one more time. Nice sign from the rook that he didn't rush a shot there.

agreed.  Amir has tailed off more than expected this season.  had hoped that if Danny was bringing back one of Sully or Zeller it would have been Sully because we at least know he can rebound.
