With the injuries he's dealing with, I'd offer him what Raptors gave him. He's an upgrade over Zeller and Jerebko.

Absolutely nothing.  I would not give him a two year deal of any amount - not even $3M a year. 

The guy hurts the team on offence with his shocking shot selection, he hurts the team on defence with his complete inability to defend anybody who can move, and he hurts the team culture with his laziness and his apparent fear of hard work - he's a terrible role model for the rookies.

The only thing he does well is rebound, and there are so many bigs in this league who can give you the rebounding without the bad attitude.   Better off just swinging a deal for Omer Asik, who I've read the Pelicans are begging to get rid of.

I liked him better than the other bigs, except for Horford. The fact that Toronto plugged him into the starting 5 at the 4 says something.

But he has serious foot problems that could be chronic. I read that McHale had a similar problem, and it cost him a chunk of his career. I thought Ainge made a mistake not keeping him, but maybe he knew something. I don't know if I would trust his soundness even if he came back. Too risky.

Frankly, I think Ainge is nuts if he doesn't go after Noel when he's ready to play again. He should give up anything except his core players for him. Core= Horford, IT, Crowder, Bradley and Smart. Those Nets picks are diminishing in value every day. Can't see Philly getting much for him as a contract player. Besides, Celtics have the inside track on re-signing him being a local kid who wants to play in Boston.

Yeah, I would if we could use the Room Exception on him after acquiring a max FA. Sully was a good player for us and was a very consistent rebounder - something we sorely lack. There are many who speak of his horrible play against Atl in the playoffs last season, but he was also one of the only guys who showed up against Cle in the playoffs the previous season.

Unfortunately, his attitude seemed to have shifted at the end of last year and it's hard to bring somebody back who expects a bigger role than he should probably get. Even in the 'regular' workplace, employers would rather lay-off a worker and hire somebody new rather than simply demote them.

Zeller over Sully had more to do with keeping a happy locker room than about actual talent on the roster. Timing of signings also likely played a factor.

Zeller vs Sully. We chose Zeller.

LOL, that's not what happened.

They willingly cut the cord on Sullinger. That says a lot. They did not want him in Boston. Zeller is a stop gap and a short term contract.
