last year he came into pre season after playing for canada,this season he got to rehab take a lot of shots  and watch from sidelines
kelly gave off a very confident attitude,played really good defense and hit the backdoor cutter
he set good screens and played with confidence-kelly ,horford ,crowder back and marcus playing well
with avery rebounding and getting to hoop and the little guy playing at all star level

I think that having a few games without Horford will help Kelly secure his spot in the rotation.  With Horford in he wouldn't be getting as many opportunities with the ball in his hand a s a secondary ball handler, but with no Horford he should be able to earn a lot of Brad's trust (and minutes!) for when Horford comes back

I believe KO has always had CBS's Trust..  He was just injured.  His only problem had been his aggressiveness.. But I always thought that this year he would get past that. Looking at him now he looks comfortable.. he is hitting his shots, he is making his passes and he is playing fairly decent defense (though he is still going for too many head fakes)

When he is playing this way he is very very valuable to what we are trying to do..

That is an interesting observation.  Although I am not sure about the trust part, I agree that KO is actually benefiting from the extra work while Al is out.  KO looked great tonight.  If he can play at that level for us all year, I may have to up my prediction for our win total.
