Hate going small but I think it may be necessary. KO, AJ, Jerekbo, and Zeller are not NBA starters. They really struggle defending and being dependable on offense. You really don't know what you are going to get. I hate to admit it but team unless it makes a trade needs to go IT, AB, Smart, Crowder and Hordeford as their starting lineup. That's just yuck to me but clearly it's the best five players they can start.

I'll admit it's been hard for me to watch out three guard line ups for the length of minutes their playing so far this year especially when all are guard are undersized for the guard position to begin with let alone the SF spot.

I love it in short spurts and hope we can go back to that at full health.

Going small can be effective, if you have the right group of smalls playing.

The fact is the C's go tiny, the Celtics must be one of the smallest teams in the NBA in the backcourt with
IT 5-9, AB 6-2, Rozier 6-1, only Smart is near the average for his playing position at 6-4.

Then you have Crowder at 6-5 at the small forward position... again small against the average NBA SF.

Granted, this group is frisky, and aggressive, but the fact remains. Are teams using this size against us when planning game strategy. I myself would try to trap these undersized guards, and force a jump pass, and hope for turnovers.

How small is too small?
