Marcus is never going to get the attention he deserves because he's just never going to be a stellar offensive player. But he's just such a great basketball player man. Just makes things happen, draft pick was well worth it.
Smart has been really good in the pick and roll for the last few games.
Tonight in the first half alone, he's forced the defense to choose between fouling Amir or letting him complete the alley-oop.
just joining the game. thanks for the info above.

if smart can consistently score in a variety of ways, he is an instant all star.

would someone please give me an overview of the first half? a tp awaits you.

Funny enough I started watching mid-way through 2nd quarter but this is what I heard and saw
-Celtics came out of the gates flat while Indiana came out scorching hot
-Celtics couldn't hit a three until the end of the first half
-Indiana was up by as much as 10 but the Celtics went on a 13-0 run to take a 3 point lead
-This game is showing more and more proof of how much this team missed Marcus Smart and Kelly Olynyk. Both of them are playing great. I think this team will finally be among the east's best once Horford and Crowder come back fully healthy.

How are we winning at half with AB and IT having a combined 7 points?

How has Smart done on George?

George out with sprained ankle. Ko shooting well.

Lol, jpotter, you're way out of the loop. George is out with an ankle injury, Horford out but expected back Monday. Olynyk has been spectacular, Smart solid, Roz excellent, and Young even contributed some decent minutes. Pacers really struggle in the boards, too.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

Following as much as I can in my parents' crappy Internet. Looks like KO being back is huge for us. Is horford not playing? I thought he was cleared and came with the team?

Hortford out but expected back Monday 4 Pelicans game.

Crowder maybe ready for Warriors game on Friday.

Kelly Olynyk. The man looks like he's ready to take the next step. He's shown these past three games how much the team missed him. When Horford gets back, I expect him and KO to be the starters.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

It's time to unleash Mickey. We could have been watching the emergence of Zizac, but Danny felt Zeller was some magical backup center.

Amir is looking more and more like damaged goods. He healed from plantar fasciitis and now he is in back pain. This is nerve wracking without Horford and Jae. Olynyk has definitely emerged thank God. And the refs were very awful earlier. I forgot to mention that. Yet we are still in this game.

Gerald Green, Jerebko, Young and Zeller are scrubs. It is what it is.

This is a remarkable game in that somehow we are leading at halftime while not playing that well. This team plus Crowder and Horford with Olynyk full strength has to be a 60 win team on paper.

Question marks have been answered in a good way. The rebounding is getting weird. I've never seem more Celtics fighting their own teammate for the same rebound.

Horford and Crowder should be able to fix whatever it is that's been going wrong.

Keep attacking.  We have them in early foul trouble.
