Bradley really has to start taking care of the ball better. He's been very careless this game, along with IT jumping in the air with nowhere to go.

Only a 15 point game. Manageable.

Smart has been effective with the ball.  Bradley is effective off ball.  Instead of giving Smart the ball and letting him run pick and roll, they just sit him in the corner where he can't be effective.  Its just poorly thought out.

Meanwhile, no one boxes out.

That's been on Stevens since he's been here. He's improperly used Smart offensively every year. Smart has been excellent in the pick n roll, yet he just simply has IT out there with iso penetration or for some reason having Bradley try to create something. Ridiculous.

I missed the first half.  Why did Jaylen only play 3 minutes.  Is he injured?

We're in good shape, considering how atrocious we played.

15 points isn't that much to overcome in a half, especially against what looks to be a pretty bad Wizards club.

The bad defense begins as soon as John Wall decides to blow past IT. It all caves in after that.

We played decent basketball towards the end of the half. Marcus Isaiah and Kelly all started to look pretty good.

I didnt catch the first few minutes but Id imagine terrible defense allowed a few guys to get really hot and then even with good defense they were making everything. Add in the fact that every good defensive stand is rewarded with an offensive rebound and this deficit was always gonna be tough to cut into. Hopefully weve cooled them down and guys like Isaiah can get hot.

We are obviously in the game. Easily winnable. This team just needs to show up.

He sucks.

Not being cute or anything, but he's been terrible. He let Otto Porter go off on us, had two TO's, and pretty much sucked overall. Rozier was pretty much the same, which is why AB, IT, and Smart have all played 19 minutes and Rozier has played 5 and Brown 3 lol

Bradley has gotten way better at it this year but he is pounding the ball and wasting away the clock, and he was not effective in the pick and roll so far at all.  Let Smart work.  You are just handicapping your players out there.  If you're undersized especially you're letting Smart's man, a SF, sag off and cause trouble for everyone else.

I mean, this has pretty much been the last two games. We have terrible individual and team defense to start off the game, allow someone to get going, don't rebound the ball, and that's pretty much the game.

Makes sense.  The other shoe had to drop with Jaylen.  He was terrible in both Summerleague and Preseason.  His big flukey game against the Cavs reminded me of Smart's now forgotten big flukey game against Westbrook.

I still think long-term he can be great.  Hopefully he progresses quickly.

Boxing out as little as the bigs have been doing is just not acceptable.
