am i the only person who notices how much society has changed in 10 years though?  millennials everywhere.

this team  and its fanbase are cmpletely different than they were 10 years ago.

...and?
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

We have so many guards in general.  I don't know what we are going to do with them all. Then we have Zeller just sleep walking through games. I don't get it.  He's being paid 8 million a year to be a backup and should at least be prepared for situations like this.  he seems to fit us. I don't think talent is the issue with this team.  The nba season is a marathon not a sprint and teams get lazy sometimes but eh.  We have depth for this purpose.  It's just inexperience and not giving a crap at all.  Zeller gave up so many layups and missed so many layups.

It's hard to be a team when one guy is completely letting everyone down and no one trusts each other.

I'm bracing myself for a terrible shooting night from brown. Something like 3 for 16.   His shooting percentages are unrealistically high and he's due.  Hopefully he has another great game though.
1 for 7 shooting is about what I expected.  He was due.  For a guy expected to shoot under 40% this season his shooting had been way too efficient, but hopefully he bounces back.

Of course.  Bad shooting nights happen all the time, especially for rookies.  Hell Steph Curry was 0-10 from 3 the other night against the Lakers, snapping his streak of games with a 3-pointer made.   I expect a lot of tough nights for Jaylen this season.

Do you think Boston fans have gotten soft?  Watching games the past few years the crowds are like suburbia compared to how it used to be.  I stopped going to games a few  years back because it was like that. You don't even hear the boston accent anymore.

Interesting - Maybe it was inevitable, but I wish we could have kept our game atmosphere unique in this league of blaring PA guys, rap music, along with the ridiculous dancers and light shows. Bill Simmons wrote that article about the 1984 series and the quality of the basketball and how Boston fans didn't need any extras or instructions to tell them when to make noise.

I prefer rap music over that stupid organ every day of the week.

I don't

he still probably will end up shooting under 40% this season barring some really surprising quick development.  I still expect to see more games like this than the one he had against the cavs.

Brad Stevens: "What’s most disappointing to me is the lack of physicality. That’s on me. I’ve got to play the guys that are more physical."

Then stop playing Zeller and Jerebko!

Saw Brad quoted after the game sa that certain players need to be more physical. You can't ask finesse bigs to change their spots.  Team's too soft on the back line and that's on Danny, not Zeller, JJ, Amir & co. These guys are what they are.

This doesn't need Boogie the way we played tonight. Boogie would mess with this teams psyche.  We are too weak minded as it stands.
