Avery needs to stop shooting without swinging the ball around first.

I'm not sure that we could've played these guys on a worse night with Horford, KO, and Crowder all out.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Why is freaking Young in there?? He is absolutely killing us defensively.

Are there still people who think marcus can't run the point/isn't a good passer?
Yeah, count me in that group.  He can make a few basic passes but since he'll never really be any kind of threat to score, he'll always be limited on that end.  Just reality.

6 points in 3-5 shooting in 8  minutes tonight so far..
Eight minutes does not a career make.  The larger sample size is in my favor.

I mean, a lot of these shots are looks that you don't mind giving up.  Lots of iso stepback jumpers and off-the-dribble threes from guys who statistically don't hit many of them.

They won't hit those all night long.

That's the same thing we said against Chicago and they went to torch us in the perimeter.

Burned by our own scouting reports I guess.  But you gotta give up something in the NBA.  Letting Mudiay shoot is the correct strategy, because he can't shoot.  Tonight is a fluke.

Having many non-shooters torching us can't be a coincidence. It happened many times already.

It can absolutely be.

We've completely lost our defensive grit. This is embarrassing. The reason Sullinger and Crowder mean so much to this team is that they do so much dirty work and work so hard to either lock down or rebound. It brings that same sort of mentality to the team and gives them that identity. I don't see that this year just yet so we'll see what happens.

I'd love to hear Mike and Tommy actually call this team out, this effort level is pathetic.

I have a feeling that when Brad Stevens was "worried" about this game it had a lot more to do with something internally in the club than it did the Nuggets.

Maybe the boys have been on a bender the last couple days?
