It's like the Warrior's are trying to Prove Barkley wrong. "You can't win a championship shooting jumpshots"

They did win one, against The Cavs, without two out of three of their stars. And that's when they actually had Big guys, Rim protection, and Barnes a great athlete/Defender.

No Bogut, No Speights, No Ezili, No Barnes. No dice. Zaza Pachulia? Really?

What could they get for Durant right now?  Would Deandre Jordan make them a better team than With Durant?

Would Horford and Smart make the Warrior's a better team? Is that deal a win for the Celtics?

Who Do you trade if forced to..

Well Klay is playing poorly obvious, so as the season goes along, he might be asking for a trade. One ball is not enough for those three (I'm not counting Green). You can see that their shooting numbers fell down from last season and thats because both of them, Curry and Klay, are volume scorers and they like to touch the ball more frequently, which is not happening now.

I think that's the plan for Danny, wait and see who wants out. It's more risky but the prize is way greater. As the season goes on, there will be teams who struggle and players wanting out, so when that happens, guess who will be there with few quality players and good picks  ;D

If I had to name TOP 8 star players surprisingly getting traded (yeah I know but let's have fun) this season it would be like this:

1. Anthony Davis (maybe not this season but he would be dumb to stay there)
2. Demarcus Cousins (probably)
3. Klay Thompson (to me it seems he's the odd man there)
4. Jimmy Butler (the honey moon's over, it's time they all start fighting each other)
5. Paul Millsap (the Hawks are going to play like Stan's Magic with DH and four point guards)
6. Serge Ibaka (he's not resigning with them)
7. John Wall (Beal got how much? lol plus they are average team at best and Brooks is not a good coach)
8. Derrick Favours (I don't know why but think the Jazz will try to trade him)

I trade none of them.  The season is so long and so little of it has been played, whatever has happened in the entire league so far really doesn't matter.

If I'm Ainge these players are on and off the table:

Off the table: IT, Jaylen, Horford, Bradley and Smart.

On the table: Kelly, Jerebko, Mickey, Young, Jackson, Zeller and Green

Off the table but they could be on it, for the right price: Jae, Johnson, Rozier

You can see why did I put those three off/on the table. Love Jae but we got Jaylen. Johnson got us W against the Bulls but he's not starting caliber player. Love Rozier but think he's expendable with IT, Smart and others capable of handling the ball.

I overreact and trade all of them. Then when I'm still not winning I make a poll on which one I should trade for

Teams with a legit rim protectors should be their targets if they plan to continue contending. Trade the weakest link of their best players (so far, it's klay) for someone like Noel, Okafor + picks and fillers.

Klay is the obvious trade candidate.  They need a starting C and a starting SG (or multiple good bench players) in return.  Otherwise they'll have to start Iguodala and weaken their bench.  In a trade with the Sixers, they might be able to get Noel, Henderson, Covington and the Lakers 1st.  They'd have to be willing to pay Noel but Henderson has a team option and Covington is cheap.

Steph and Durant are MVP caliber players. You don't trade them.

Klay Thompson is the obvious choice to be traded if a trade is needed.

This question does not compute. Something is not like the others.

It's obvious after 6 games that there is no hope for the Warriors and their only option is to blow it up.

I don't think you can trade KO and still keep him as a starter.  ;D

Couple of points.

First of all, this thread is Exhibit # 782002 for why you do not need the GSW Watch Thread.

Second, why do some undervalue our players? Klay is not that superior to Bradley to the point that you have to add all the extra pieces to Bradley just to get Klay, unless it is just a matter of getting contracts to work. If that is the case the Captologists will have to find way to make it work, but I do not think sending assets to GSW + Bradley just to get Klay is a good deal when they are pretty mush equal players.

Goes to show you cannot take that thread proposal seriously.
