Zizic?  Really?  Will he ever even play a game for the Celtics?

Only one thing is for sure: If he was on the 76ers you'd be talking as if he was a lock to be a future All Star.

His numbers are indeed good but he plays against a lot of very very very bad teams.

So do NCAA prospects.

He's still 19 and he still crushes his competition.  He's a good prospect.  Like all players he needs to prove it in the NBA, but there is something to be excited about there for sure.  Especially for a team that can use size and rebounding.

I think Zizic will help improve the rebounding. Hopefully he is backing up Blake Griffin, Harry Giles (provided he checks out medically) or both.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Color me skeptical. But he's still young.

Not out of the question for him to make it to the NBA, but Boston is another matter. Today's game demands more mobility than ever before; he's just got an awful lot of leg to move.

If things go according to plan, the Celtics will be contending for the next few years, maybe longer. I just don't see a place for him on the roster.

Yes he will. He will play many games for us next season, and many seasons after that. He has potential. Not potential potential. He has potential. His per 36 numbers are elite. He "looks" good. All the kind of stuff you like.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

I'm skeptical as well, but this is the same guy who said Rozier would be garbage, Brown would be playing in the d-league this year. As for Zizic, if he turns into a role player, we should be happy.

He literally said Offensively and defensively we are Outstanding. I can't stop thinking how much Zizic will eventually help with that, Yabu hopefully as well.

TP to Danny Ainge though, he really has done well with his Operation Wolfpack theory. Thanks.

If I had to bet, I'd say Zizic doesn't make it to the NBA, but Yabusele does. Yabusele has a unique skill set for a man his size, if he can put it together he's got a lot of value in today's game – having said that, he still has to learn how to play basketball.

I must have missed this operation wolfpack theory. Is that a thing?

I've watched highlights of Zizic and Yab and you can put me in th Z camp.  I'm seeing excellent mobility and finishing skills from Z.  Yab looks a little plodding, although he can explode when he has a head of steam. Showing good shooting range so far though.

Love how a thread on Van Gundy's complement of the CURRENT Celtics squad immediately morphed into a love/hate Zizic thread.  Amazing.

The broadcast was so much better without that Bigmouth Mark Jackson, proclaiming some player as The Greatest of All Time....total jerk that guy.

I would much rather listen to Mark Jackson than Jon Barry. He is the worst ever.

Didn't he call Rozier, Hosier, and swamped threads with negativity, yet now he's Terry's biggest fan? I also noticed the Brooklyn and Philadelphia weirdness. It's too bad. This could be a much better forum.
