Drafted at 19 years of age at one point he was the #1 prospect in all of High School basketball by one source.

At 25 years old he's a Fantastic player and one of the top two way Guards in the NBA.

I was very hard on Bradley when he was forced into the PG position his rookie year. He was terrible actually.

Slowly but surely we have seen this kid to develop into the player he is today, he might be a top 25 player in the world right now. At 25 years old.

Lock this kid up Danny, I don't want to see him play anywhere else other than Boston from ages 26 to 31.

Hats off to Avery for working his tail off and becoming something that many wish to be. One of the best athlete's in the world.

Soon to earn 100 Million dollars or more. He doesn't deserve that much money, but then again he does.

He really does seem to keep getting better. Might get some all star buzz this year

Danny's favorite player is a guy that has major offensive holes but superior defensive abilities coupled with elite athletic traits.  Seems an awful lot like he gravitates towards guys he would've struggled with on the court.

He was also a horrible 3-point shooter in the first 4 years of his long NBA-career.  And we are completely bought in -- aren't most here optimistic that 2-3 of Smart/Rozier/Brown can become solid shooters from deep as he had?

I finally figured out what you are saying.

Ainge could shoot. Look at his FT. Sure, his 3pt% was low, but check out the entire league in 1981. Scott Wedman was 8th best at .325. Wasn't the line longer back then? .294 his rookie season wasn't as bad as it seems.

Who is his favorite player?

Robert Swift?

Only if we're ignoring his combo-guard trend.

This is the most random exchange I've seen in this forum. TP to both of you

I've loved Bradley ever since he supplanted Ray Allen in the starting lineup. Always exhibited great synergy with Rondo. I never imagined he'd blossom offensively like this, and he's only 25. Stands to reason that he still has room to improve.

The man will be 26 years old for about 90% of the 2016-2017 NBA season. Let's just call him 26.

After his rookie year, I didn't think he would last long in the NBA.  I've never been more wrong about a player.  I'm even still impressed at how he keeps improving.  I'm a big fan of his.

A hard-working player gets some great coaching and still improves at age 25.

Is that really a surprise?

Except, of course, he's still just 25.

Couple points:

Avery had great role models and mentors in KG and PP. I am sure he would not be as good today if he hadn't been teammates with two of the finest professionals in the NBA (who also happen to be great Celtics).  Avery is showing the leadership skills he learned from great teammates.

Avery works hard and diligently has improved his craft every year.  He was always a really good 1:1 defender, but now he is finally is a fully well-rounded player in all facets of the game.

When he is 26, right? If you really prefer 26, you can still say 'almost 26' or 'just under 26', you know? :)

And Jaylen Brown took a few months to develop ;)

Bradley is still developing so I'm not sure why the thread title is in past tense.
