Apparently our second unit doesn't know how to play help D for perimeter threes..

well it really is a partial 3rd string.
we are missing 2 starters and 1 7th man....

when JJ and Mickey are your bigs, we shouldn't really expect much..

since when is JJ our 2nd team
1st team bigs - Horford, AJ
2nd Team bigs - KO, Zellar

True, but I think it was Rozier and JJ who screwed up, who are both second stringers.

See guys... THIS is why we need a guy like Griffin, Ibaka or Cousins...

NOT Hayward for the max...

Ibaka does not belong anywhere in that conversation.

Okay fine maybe not Ibaka in particular.. but basically another big who can rebound and score. Horford alone doesn't cut it.

Also Ibaka *might* be had for less than the max.. if he does leave Orlando..

Ibaka isn't really a scorer or a rebounder.

Pretty good 3 pt. shooter. He is averaging like 15/5 through 4 games so far with Orlando. Averages nearly 2 blocks a game as well. He certainly fits a few needs.
Zack Lowe was talking about him on a podcast this week saying he's been underwhelming with Orlando so far and there are some questions about his actual age.

Have to get Smart in more pick n rolls. That's the only way we're really going to get offense right now.

Yes, please more Smart pick n roll.  In and out pull up and a nice assist to Mickey.

I disagree. Roz is better at creating.

I don't think Smart can guard Lebron. Why not put him on someone he can frustrate.

He and Jaylen have both been great on him so far.

Good things happen when Jaylen Brown can lead the fast break.
My biases, in order of fervor:
Pro:
Smart, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Kemba, Grant Williams, Sleepy Williams, Edwards!

Anti:
Kanter, Semi, Theis, Poierier

For himself.... not others, as has been clearly demonstrated thus far in the season.

Summer League Jaylen right there, grabs rebound and starts his own fast break.

Man I don't know. Lebron is so good. Why waste our best defender on him who is giving up 4-5 inches.
