I will give this to Amir - he's excellent at that little flip shot near the basket. His overall defense has been subpar, though, and I cringe when he shoots threes still.

He has a legit very good hook shot.  He's a good roller.  And his defense has been good, he has like 3 steals right now.

It's not among the best but I think it's a lot better than most bigs in the league.  Look at Robin Lopez if you want to see the usual hideous one most bigs throw up.

His hands have been good, but his positioning has been bad on team defense. He's been caught on a lot of screens that he should have got around, along with some other miscues.
