The Warriors' struggles are a little concerning. I remember thinking the 2015 Cavaliers had the same struggles but then I remembered. The Cavs made trades that made them better because they had the assets to improve themselves as a squad. The Dubs do not.
Can you really call a team that's won 4 in a row and just curb-stomped the previously undefeated Thunder having "struggles"? That team is still by far the favorite to run away with the title.
I read that you have to put down $150 dollars on Golden State winning the title to win back $100... but you can put $100 on "the field" (meaning you bet that literally any team other than Golden State will win the title) and if a team other than Golden State wins the title, you get $120 bucks. That's surreal.
Delusional would be believing any other team has > 25% chance of winning the title this year.
I think the Cavs have a > 25% chance of winning the title. The Cavs will not be challenged in the East at all, are playing great ball, and have the best player in the world on their team. The Warriors are and should be the favorites in the West, but they will have a much harder time getting through the West and as we saw last year if you are physical with them and wear them down they can crumble a bit. Curry and Durant have also been fairly injury prone, unlike James, so the rigors of a long season would more likely negatively affect them than Cleveland (and yeah I know Irving and Love aren't exactly pillars of health either, but the Cavs don't need home court to win the East easily and won't need to win as many games to get the 1 seed even if they want it).
