Cleared on all charges, if these are legit sources (looks like the NY Post and NY Daily News, so probably legit):

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

That was an ugly trial all around.  Some of the testimony was pretty cringe worthy to read.  Lots of insight into the dark underbelly side of being a celebrity.

Yeah.... I can just say it sucks all around and it is so hard to say anything.  People can get off of these things, especially the rich.  But you can see how the opposite, targeting of celebrity, can easily happen.  How all of it plays out in public now is the dark part though.  Tough to even draw a neat conclusion about though.

To be fair, this was a civil trial for money not a criminal trial, so he wasn't cleared of anything, merely found not liable in civil court.

Yep, very hard to truly know what happened. Just an awful situation regardless of how you choose to look at it.

So do we get like a written explanation or something as to why they ruled this way?
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

Jurors are posing for pictures with Rose and his attorney in the courthouse.  Guilty or not, this just seems gross.

Why is Rose doing this? Why are the jurors? I never realized how big an idiot Rose was till I losely followed this trial.

True, but there was not enough evidence to bring a criminal case, apparently.

In addition, the burden of proof in a criminal case, beyond reasonable doubt, is much harder to prove than in a civil case, where the burden of proof is more likely than not (i.e., 51%).

Oh I know, I was just correcting the cleared comments.  The police are still investigating and haven't closed the file yet, so criminal rape charges could still be brought.

Wow. I don't think I've ever seen this before. Are those really jurors?

If that picture doesn't say "justice was served", I don't know what does.

The kid from the first photo is taking pictures in that one. It was all a big party, apparently.

I seriously cannot believe this part.  So terrible.  By the way Roy, they were not only jurors posing for pictures but I believe I saw the DA even did.
