With - I admit - some pleasure, I come over the back of my rival in New Orleans, and make the 10th pick in the 11th round, Alex Abrines.

Winner of the Euroleague “Rising Star” award, Abrines hit on 45% of his 7.4 three point attempts. Those numbers for a twenty-three year old player in a league that generally focuses on defense are something special.

I was toying with picking him last round, but I figured I could get him in the 11th. Big mistake on my part.

Per team policy we are unable to speak upon the poltics of Enes' descision but want to stress that not only do we support but his right to use his platform to participate in responsible social engagement but we encourage our players to do so.

It is unclear at this time whether or not the name change will be cleared with the NBA before the start of the season but we will work with Enes on ensuring that the name on the back of his jersey reflects the image of the man wearing it.
