We don't win the title with out him.  For that I appreciate the professionalism he gave my favorite team.

For joing forces with the enemy I'm sad.... But he did win a chip with him.    And was in trade rumors far to much.   For that I respect his decision.   If he does play again, I hope its for the Clippers and he beats both the Cavs and Warriors.   (:

I'm not a Ray Allen fan after he left like he did, but it's long enough ago that I've gotten over it.  I hope he signs with the Cavs and helps burn GSW to the ground
If he did this, I would still hate him. But I would hate him a lot less than I do now.

meh, Ray Allen was one of my favorite players since his Buck days. I was p---ED when he left for MIA. But it's been 4 years, and we weren't going to win anymore at that point anyways. I have forgot about it already lol

Well I haven't gotten over it.  Not only am I bitter for the way he left the Celtics, but he also set the standard that KD followed, which is to go to the team that gives you the best chance of getting hardware.  Apparently it is the hardware, not the championship that is important to these guys.

Yes Ray Allen a 36 year old at the time on a dying team set the standard for KD ,,,, Lebron James in 2010 did not, a prime LBJ by the way, best player in the league LBJ, oh Karl Malone didnt? Gary Payton? I can go on and on.

Are you 10 years old? OR you just don't watch much basketball? Or maybe you are one of those Celtic fans who hates everything but Celtics.
celtics2030, that is completely uncalled for.  I am 58 and have been watching the Celtics since John Havlichek.  It is ridiculous hyperbole to guess that I "hates everything but the Celtics'.

I TOLD YOU: I am still bitter at Ray Allen, not everything.  Perhaps I should lay out my OPINION so you understand:  What Ray Allen and KD did is different than LBJ, Karl Malone or Gary Payton.  These two guys left to join the team that just beat them in order to get a ring.  I do not respect that, plain and simple.  It's my opinion, got it?  Sorry if that bothers you, just don't think you know who I am based on that one opinion.

Screw him.  Man, team reunions are going to be very uncomfortable, to say the least, lol ;D, should they take place, of course.

I was p---ed Ray left because it showed that we didnt mean anything to him. It was really just a business. I dont feel right hating him. I just dont love him. Hes just a former player of the Celtics. A guy who helped us win.

My whole thing with that is that I get why he'd be upset with Ainge after he'd been trying to trade Ray almost as many times as Rondo, lol, only to then offer Allen a no-trade clause when his contract was up (a little late, to say the least, imo ::)), or even to be irritated with Doc over not using him enough on offense, not to mention the thing with Rondo, but couldn't you stay for Pierce and Garnett, as well as the fans?  That's what will always bother me, in addition to that 3 that saved Lebron's legacy, lol ;D. Ugh.

Pretty sure that Ray left because Ainge kept dangling him in trade scenarios...Loyalty works both ways...Happy Birthday Ray Allen---Thanks for blowing by Sasha and the Fakers for us-!

Let me bake him a birthday cake so it can clog his 40 year old arteries.
