God i hope he's on the team this year. For sheer entertainment alone.

The dump-off at 1:58 is a ridiculous play from a 4-man
The defender shuffling his feet at 2:28 was also awesome.

Even at the end of the game, we lined up in different formation that he hadn't seen and he called out our play before I got the ball. I heard him calling it out. -John Wall on Brad Stevens

yes and yes.  That nasty one handed hammer dunk was impressive

i don't he has to lose weight or much of it. Just needs to tone up a bit more

What a night and day difference between Yabu vs Sully body

This might be a potentially inappropriate question, but who's got the bigger "center of gravity"?
Right now, we already know who's got a more efficient body.

Yabusele is a player who will really pay off down the road. Last I heard barring a major roster shake up he is going back overseas for the season.

Having just watched his highlights compared to BBD and Sully it really highlighted the similarities and differences in the 3 wide bodied PFs. Yabu is obviously in the best physical shape of the 3 and with that moves better laterally and is more explosive. He is not as skilled as a face up player as Sully but is superior to BBD. I would say BBD is the superior jump shooter (at least when with Cs).

Looking at those 3 I ultimately think Yabu will be a less skilled but physically superior Sully.

Awesome highlights.  Yabu did at least one thing each game that I would consider a, "wow" play.

He is however an atrocious defender.  I can't see him getting floor time under Brad for a couple of years.

Nice breakdown, still don't think I can say that he will be a better player than Sully from what I've seen, as while Yabu as you said has the athleticism, Sully has the near elite rebounding cababilities and low post game (which I never thought coach used enough). Yabusele's defensive needs to be significantly better than Sullys otherwise I will be a bit dissapointed in the pick and letting him walk. However who knows how these players will turn out, the potential is there.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Hopefully he comes back improved.

I'm not sure the level of competition in China will be good enough to keep him developing.

If he doesn't return then 16 will be a wasted pick.

I wish he went to a league with higher competition.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

On Celtics plan I'm sure

China is desperate for talent and won't make it difficult for him to leave after a year.    Hopefully the competition is at least as good as the D league

Even though it's not the top league abroad, I think he found a league where they will play him a lot of minutes immediately. After watching Bender and Hezonja get glued to the bench, I get the feeling the euro teams aren't interested in developing young players, especially one that is only on a one year deal.

I love how low he gets on his drives. Rare to see a guy of his girth able drop his center of gravity like that - kinda wish he was on the Patriots!
